Health equity is not achieved by good intentions alone.
It requires leadership.
It requires mentorship.
It requires action.
The journey continues.

Access to surgery is a human right! ✊
In Northern Uganda, low surgical workforce density and broken referral pathways mean that too many patients access safe, affordable care far too late. Today, the Gulu University Surgical Equity Society (GUSES) steps into the gap to advance "Surgical Care for All".
Grateful for GUSES’ official recognition, appreciating faculty, dedicated founders, and mentors, especially Dr. Eric Ssennuni, as we begin a shared mission for equitable and impactful surgical care.
