Will one forget back in the 1990s, Beijing insisted those wooden structures at Mischief Reef were nothing more than fishermen shelters? Then gradually, concrete structures went up, and now an artificial island boasting full runways and a harbor? It still insists it’s civilian. 🤷🏻‍♂️
