Additionally, Bernie was joined at the Stadium by Le Roy Torres and his wife, Rosie, the founders of Burn Pits 360, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving post-deployment health outcomes for current and former military members. They work with those who are suffering from emerging, complicated, or unexplained health concerns – including interstitial lung disease.

In my very first term in Congress, I helped lead a bill to prevent discrimination against disabled Americans who need organ transplants.

Today, the House voted to advance legislation that would do exactly that.

No one should be denied life-saving care because of a disability.
