میں آپ سے عاجزانہ درخواست کرتی ہوں کہ یو اے ای کے سفیر سے ملاقات کر کے اس مسئلے کو اٹھائیں۔ براہِ کرم ان کی بحفاظت رہائی کو یقینی بنانے میں ہماری مدد کریں۔ ہمیں اس وقت آپ کی تعاون کی شدید ضرورت ہے۔۔

Men killing women is an every day, mundane affair - doesn't make the headlines... Or cause media outrage

I am not saying that women killers should not be punished. Of course they should.

But so should be the nearly 7000 (SEVEN THOUSAND) men who kill their wives every year.

Also reminding

One, that 10 TIMES more women are killed by their partners and families than the other way around. These are official crime bureau statistics

Two, that 90%+ of marriages have the girls' family do the bulk of the spending, if not also paying dowry - in fact, I have personally not come across even a single one where the groom's family has spent more. The very best case is a 50-50

Three, that we still kill about seven out of 100 girls even before their born... Partly in order to save on dowry

There was a boy named Umar who was brutally suffocated to death by a group of 4 people for ransom in a cupboard 6 years ago. Most of us might remember it cz it was heartwrenching! The boy's body was recovered from a cupboard and he had a cloth in his mouth with tapes around it! Imagine the pain he went through before passing away! Astaghfirullah 😔

All of his murderers except 1 was announced death penalty. They challenged it in supreme court and a week ago their punishment was reduced to life imprisonment! 1 is already free who facilitated the entire kidnapping! And now the rest will be having group time in jail! They might be released too one day!

This is Pakistan's judicial system!!!!! Death penalties are just face saving!

Shame on the courts of this country who cant provide thorough instant justice.
