@asthanaprav@AugustJPollak In the past year we’ve been 1) denied an MRI ordered by a neurologist, 2) put on a 2 month waiting list to get physical therapy. It doesn’t matter if there is better care in the US if you can’t afford to pay the uninsured price out of pocket.
@Go_LaDolceVita@sklyarov @TylerMKing I use both MacOS and Windows and let me tell you, MacOS never requires me to do this bullshit:

@ileru@sklyarov @TylerMKing Maybe it used to work this way, but MacOS is incredibly sandboxed now when it comes to installing apps outside of the app store.
If all you did was drag the app to Applications then the app can’t put files anywhere outside of its container without you granting it permission.
@matt1986wilson @focusfronting I dunno, it’s a test and there are correct and incorrect answers, right? An IQ test seems like a perfectly fine way to tell how well you will do on an IQ test.
@arturo182 We don’t use USB-C with hidden pins on our products specifically because the skill/time/care needed to rework them makes it unfeasable to fix them.
@3ameam Part of this confusion might be from all the javascript/elektron “applications” people use that are in reality just a browser serving webpages. The line has become blurred.
@waschatchsquach@Andercot@adamtaggart It only reduces the buying pressure for sellers who aren’t living in the home. Anyone who locked in a low rate and needs a new home is likely going to rent their existing property rather than sell it, and use that revenue to offset the increased cost of the new home.
@CoachKaterina@StroteBook@AmandaMGoetz I’m currently fighting with american insurance company to get an MRI approved. Months for the MRI, years for the underlying undiagnosed condition. US healthcare absolutely makes you wait.
