@reidpooper The “Unassigned-Default” is a “smart group” that lists contacts which you have not assigned to another group. You can not edit it.

@reidpooper The “All-Unknown” group? If that is appearing, iOS is returning contacts that it identifies as belonging to an account other than iCloud.

@reidpooper “Unassigned” won’t go away, however. It’s a virtual group displaying contacts not assigned to another group.
