Andrew Huberman once said:
"Don't ask how people are doing, ask how they're sleeping. You'll a lot more"
Poor sleep is the reason you're depressed, have mood swings, and can't focus.
Here are 7 ways to get high-quality sleep every night (based on science):
Give a listen — Germans in that era were not vastly different from who Americans are now. I’ve met many, and Nazi was never who you’d think they were. And most likely they were not. They were struggling economically after WWI and most likely just trying to get by. Just like us.
Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.)
To keep fascism out of our lives, vote for democracy!

The freedom you desire is found in the discipline you've been avoiding. The structure. The routine. The order. It's not about what your present self is giving up. It's about what your future self will gain. Discipline is the ultimate act of love to your future self.
Neuroscience shows that novel challenges create new neural connections.
This process, called neuroplasticity, is like creating new paths in your brain.
More paths = Less wear and tear on the old ones.
Think of it like cross-training for your mind.
@ThatEricAlper My MIL lived in senior housing with a bird named Shithead, who would escape all the time. My husband would pull in to the parking lot, with a dozen elderly wandering around looking up, hollering out “Shithead. Where are you Shithead?” I’d guess most of them didn’t ever swear even
Reminder:
If you voted early, check your state’s election website to verify that your vote was received.
This is always important, but especially this year with MAGA torching mailboxes and shit.
@coookwithchris Backyard neighbor is the best — particularly if there’s a kid running the operation. Obvs not possible for most. Thanks for sharing this — def misleading
While the excitement is understandable, we're not convinced that single-model solutions will dominate for long. Sure, Claude’s 'Computer Use' feature is impressive, but relying too much on one system, especially in these early days, could limit innovation.
Companies need to focus on multi-provider ecosystems to prevent vendor lock-in and keep their products agile. The tech world is always evolving, and those who adapt across platforms will likely win the long game.
