When @MassAGO had an opportunity to prevent Question 1 from appearing on the ballot, during her office’s ballot question vetting process, @MassAGO chose to approve Question 1, exactly as is, over the clearly stated constitutional objections raised by the Senate. I hope @MassAGO chooses to defend Question 1, especially since it’s she who approved and green lighted its appearance on the ballot, allowing tens of thousands of voters to sign petitions so that hundreds of thousands of people could go vote for this. The will of the people counts more than the will of powerful politicians — even those who control our budgets. #mapoli
Throwing it back to this groundbreaking #REPORT with the @Clayman_Inst, shedding light on the misuse of NDAs to silence survivors of workplace misconduct. At Lift Our Voices, we’re pushing for transparency and accountability to protect employees from abuse.

It takes time to work through what the abuser's done to you. Getting over gaslighting — in which the abuser taught you you're the problem — isn't easy. They had childhoods filled with shame. They developed their own tactics for dealing with it: manipulating and deflecting it.

For when Beacon Hill insiders (currently calling themselves Scholars and Civic Educators) try to convince you that audits and basic transparency are part of some right wing conspiracy…
Just going to leave this here👇 @ProgressiveMass thank you. 🙏 #mapoli
Don't let your abuser define you. Define them. Vote for the company with your feet and decide you deserve better. Put a safety net together and set the wheels in motion to not help a company that won't help you — even if that takes time to setup.

I share our sons story to honor him, to raise awareness and prevention of bullying and suicide, I share my grief so others may not feel alone, and I do so with so much hope to help anyone who is being bullied or knows someone who is and for anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide. Bullying is cruel, harassment and deadly. Please teach kindness!! #memoir #childloss Where the Trail Ends: The Kenny Suttner Story https://t.co/F3UjRrAF28 #readerscommunity #grief #SuicidePrevention #stopbullying #forever17🕊️
Trying to embrace fall!! 🍁
It’s such a hard season for me.. it’s like a countdown begins in my head, heart & soul, to Kennybugs Angelversary, the day our son died. I dread it every year, 8 now. I am determined to try even harder not to fall into the grief hole that I have found myself in each year. Grieving your child is everyday.. but the day they left this life and the days, weeks and months leading up to that day every year is a different kind of grief. The pain is overwhelming. 💔 #grief #childloss #SuicidePreventionMonth #stopbullying #KennysStory #forever17 #fall #griefdepression
There ought to be limits on what companies can to do their people. We should prohibit companies from creating social pollution and create policies for them to measure employee well-being through such factors as paid claims, turnover, and work hours.
How archaic is it that we KNOW psychological abuse can harm people (and shows up on brain scans), but lawmakers are still doing nothing about it?
It's time to make some noise.

Research shows targets of workplace abuse, not bullies, are more likely to be high performers.
Employers: look more closely into false narratives. They're hurting your bottom lines.

Let's talk about the magnitude of externalized costs with workplace bullying passed on to taxpayers:
- Companies that don't provide health insurance push costs onto ERs.
- Laid off/underpaid workers are the responsibility of the public.
Companies do whatever they want and then pay to protect themselves, not giving a care in the world if our hands are tied and our mouths are taped.
We're done.

Sometimes our depression after abuse at work come from our loss of control for what we should control (our own jobs) and having support in it. Taking back that control in our lives to use our voices and express ourselves can help.
While not all abusers have narcissistic characteristics (and could benefit from coaching), many abusers do have narcissistic traits. Look for manipulation and lack of empathy as key chracteristics.
