I second that. Wonderful conference. Uplifting yet challenging. Will definitely encourage stroke folk @UKStrokeForum & aphasia folk @CATs_Aphasia to attend next year
Thank you to the organisers.

Just heard our @Newcastle_ECMC poster won the poster competition @intppieval international PPI conference.Thank you @isoulsby001 for collecting our prize and certificate. Next phase of this PPI project is to translate the leaflet into video for future patients @NewcastleHosps
I so agree! Does anyone ask to evaluate individually the impact of the statistician? of the qualitative researcher? of the trial nurse? Success with PPI will perhaps be achieved when people stop asking for evidence of its impact. But in the meantime.... @PPI_Ignite_TCD
@intppieval amazing 2 days Thanks to the organising team for bringing together such brilliant international speakers addressing important issues @DrLynneStobbart @PSafetynewc @NIHR_PRA Dr Lynne Corner fantastic 2 days. And the next one is.....? #ResearchNENC @NIHRCRN_nencumb
What a fantastic few days @intppieval. Really enjoyed presenting our @hrbtmrn research on the impact of involving patients and the public on intervention development- feeling inspired @ESPRIT_UCC@UCCPublicHealth
Closing plenary from Laura Forsythe @PCORI about #PPI evaluation as a journey - with maps, associated hazards and the chance to view things from different perspectives

This gets to the heart of (the complexity of) ppi impact. If a study is evaluated in terms of how it adds value to patients, then a key outcome for PPI is how it added value to the study. So, by implication, you need to measure the impact of the PPI on the impact of the research
Normalisation Process Theory made easy, useful and fun! 😎Great workshop by @TriciaWilson100 & @elspeth_mathie with @nuriarado
📸: how #ppi is embedded in Singapore now ⏩ looks like it’s time to take action! Hope we’ll get a much bigger ‘blob’ after my PhD... 💪🏼
