A man like you was jailed for 5 years; life threatened. Children left behind; wife left under the sun and in the cold weather. Parents dead due to an attack in their compound. Kidnapped, tortured and denied food and medicine for the sake of freedom, and from nowhere you think you can dethrone, shift, suspend and remove such a man as the leader of the organisation or movement he bled for.

You are even using your fake name without your real pictures. When you are asked to go to Sokoto, you say you want them to arrest me, but you think you can speak when the one who dared his critics and came to Nigeria knowing he would be arrested. He was even courageous enough to inform the government the day he would be landing in Lagos, but you, who always sneak in through some border, will come out to challenge him.

You actually think people will leave a man who used his wisdom, his vocation for his people, for a serial blackmailer and liar like you guys?

Just tell me how I will look at what Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stood for and listen to Chinasa Nworu and his cohorts? Sacrifice is important in the life of a leader. This is what has been lacking in the life of Ịgbo leaders. They loot the allocations coming to Ịgbo land and will never sacrifice anything for the people.

But Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made a difference. He put himself on the line. Even when he is in a position to make millions for himself, he chooses imprisonment for the sake of his people, refusing to compromise.

In Nigeria, a Christian villager defended his people. The state sentenced him to hang. The terrorists walked free.

A state high court in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, has sentenced a man to hang for defending his people.

His name is Victor Solomon. His Adara community — Christian farmers in Southern Kaduna State — calls him Zidane.

In October 2018, Islamic terrorists stormed the Kasuwan Magani market, a busy trading hub about thirty miles from Kaduna city. Adara Christian traders working their stalls on a Tuesday. Police counted 55 dead. The Adara counted more than a hundred. The killers murdered some of them inside a police post, in full view of the officers.

The next day, the Adara king — a paramount tribal chief, the Agwam Adara — left a meeting with the state governor and drove home through the bush. The terrorists ambushed his convoy. They shot four of his aides on the spot and dragged the king and his wife into the bush. Five days later, his body turned up. They let the wife live to carry the message home.

That governor was Nasir El-Rufai. Nigerians call him the Butcher of Kaduna. He admitted on the record that his government handed payments to the Fulani Muslim "herders" who slaughtered Christian farmers across his state. His troops shot nearly a thousand men, women, and children at a religious procession in the city of Zaria. And his administration arrested the Adara survivors of the Kasuwan Magani massacre instead of the men who carried it out.

The killing didn't stop with the king. Wave after wave hit the Adara villages through the rest of 2018. The killers burned homes and killed hundreds. They put a whole people under siege.

The state convicted zero killers, yet they arrested more than twenty Adara survivors.

Zidane stood up in the middle of all that. He risked his own neck to defend his people when the government wouldn't lift a finger. The Adara Development Association — the community's main civic organization — has gone on the record calling him a hero.

For that, on January 6, 2026, a Kaduna State High Court sentenced him to death by hanging.

Two different courts tried him on similar facts. The first court cleared him in 2024. The second sentenced him to death. Same man. Same defense. Two opposite verdicts. The current Kaduna government calls it due process and warns Nigerians not to spread "misinformation" about it.

Here is the punchline. The same state that couldn't convict a single man for slaughtering a hundred Christians at Kasuwan Magani — the same state that couldn't convict a single man for killing the Adara king on his way home from a meeting with the governor — that state is now set to execute the survivor who fought back.

That isn't justice. That is a system that has decided Christians have no right to live.

The Nigerian regime has a pattern of sentencing Christians to death for self defense. And it goes out of its way to deny recognition and aid to the millions who are displaced, mostly woman and children, now suffering in horrific conditions in hidden concentration camps around the country.

Contrast that with what this regime does for the terrorists. The Nigerian federal government runs a program called Operation Safe Corridor. Boko Haram fighters and Fulani militiamen who yell Allahu Akbar while savagely slaughter Christian villages get six months of carpentry class at a military camp, a graduation ceremony, and a stipend.

By all international standards, the program is a sick joke. It is estimated that up to fifty percent quickly return to terror -- well fed, rested, educated, and better connected thanks to unwitting taxpayers and a complicit government.

Nigeria's Chief of Defence Staff calls the these savages "prodigal sons." National Security Adviser Nuhu "Bugsy" Ribadu calls them "brothers." The Sultan of Sokoto, who speaks for Nigeria's Muslims, called them hellbound from a podium in Abuja the same week his Fulani militants attacked a Christian burial in Plateau State. Despite his recent, cynical media statement, the Sultan has taken no action to stop them in 20 years - no fatwa, no names named. Many believe him to be the architect.

A vacation and carpentry certificte for the man who hacked apart Christians with a machete. A noose for the man who stood in his way.

Last Christmas, after a year of global pressure, a Christian state governor in northeastern Nigeria pardoned a Christian farmer named Sunday Jackson — convicted for killing a Fulani "herder" who attacked him with a knife. Eleven days after that pardon, Kaduna sentenced Zidane. The regime watched, learned and then pushed harder.

The world saved Jackson and can save Zidane. But only if the world hears his name.

Told @NEWSMAX that the strikes by the US on a jihadi terror group with ties to ISIS in north Western Nigeria shows that action is now needed to just to mitigate terror groups but also to weaken these groups before they commit more massacres against Nigerians in general and Christians in particular.

Self-Determination

Every country, at its genesis, passed through hardship. Many were rejected at first—unrecognized, occupied, denigrated.

Then came independence. Through determination and talent, they found their place and became full members of the international community.

Think of the Baltic states, the republics of Central Asia, the former Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and the peoples who emerged from the Ottoman Sultanate. Think of America itself, when its colonial communities rose to separate from Britain. All peoples have lived through this experience. They deserve a chance, for there is no higher value than the right to self-determination.

Borders matter when all inhabitants are content and willing to live together. But people can also be happy when they choose to live side by side, as neighbors. Some seek unity; others seek independence. Size does not matter. All nations move through the currents of history.

I have taught the principle of self-determination across two centuries and witnessed how nations evolve. Nothing is forever—except the feeling of freedom.

At this critical hour in the Biafra journey, uncertainty hangs heavy in the air. Hope still burns, yes—but questions are louder than ever. Confusion walks freely. Fear whispers. Division knocks. And the struggle that once felt united now appears fragmented. At this point of uncertainty in Biafra sovereignty, one unavoidable question confronts us all: who will bell the cat?

History teaches us that every liberation movement reaches a moment when slogans are no longer enough, when emotions alone cannot move mountains, and when courage must graduate into responsibility. This is that moment. The “cat” before us is the system of oppression, betrayal, fear, and internal sabotage that continues to stalk our collective destiny. Everyone sees it. Everyone talks about it. But who will step forward to bell it—knowing fully well the risks involved?

True leadership is not noise. It is not social media popularity. It is not personal gain masked as patriotism. True leadership is sacrifice. It is clarity in chaos. It is the willingness to stand firm when applause fades and danger draws near. At this stage, Biafra does not need more praise singers; Biafra needs truth tellers. Not more divided camps; but a disciplined direction. Not louder voices; but wiser steps.

The people are tired of recycled promises. They are weary of power struggles disguised as strategy. They are asking for sincerity, transparency, and a roadmap that reflects the pain they endure daily. The uncertainty we face today is not because the cause is wrong—it is because unity, accountability, and courage have been diluted.

To bell the cat now means to speak honestly to our people. It means confronting internal failures with humility. It means choosing the collective destiny over personal ambition. It means restoring trust, rebuilding coordination, and aligning words with action.

Biafra’s future cannot be postponed forever. Destiny does not wait for comfort. If we fail to act decisively now, history will judge us harshly—not for lacking a cause, but for lacking the courage to protect it.

So again, the question echoes—not in anger, but in urgency: at this point of uncertainty in Biafra sovereignty, who will bell the cat?

The time to rise above fear is now. The time to lead with truth is now. The time to act like a people ready for freedom is now.
