🔸Accused sentenced to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment in POCSO case!

@AndheriPS registered a complaint under the POCSO Act after an 11-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted after being lured into a house on the pretext of keeping his shoes.

Through a thorough investigation backed by objective, physical & biological evidence and witness statements, a charge sheet was filed.

The accused was sentenced to 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment & a ₹1,000 fine under Section 377 IPC & Section 6 POCSO Act, along with additional sentences under Sections 506(2) IPC & 10 POCSO Act.

बूट ठेवण्याच्या बहाण्याने घरात बोलवून ११ वर्षीय मुलावर लैंगिक अत्याचार केल्याची तक्रार @AndheriPS येथे पॉस्को अन्वये दाखल करण्यात आली.

सदर गुन्ह्याच्या तपासादरम्यान आरोपीविरोधात भक्कम वस्तुनिष्ठ, भौतिक आणि जैविक पुरावे गोळा करून तसेच साक्षीदारांचे जबाब नोंदवून आरोपीविरुद्ध दोषारोपपत्र सादर करण्यात आले.

या प्रकरणी आरोपीस कलम ३७७ भा.दं.वि. आणि कलम ६ पॉस्को अंतर्गत २० वर्षांच्या कारावासाची शिक्षा व ₹१,००० द्रव्यदंड, तसेच कलम ५०६ (२) भा.दं.वि. अंतर्गत ५ वर्षांच्या सश्रम कारावासाची व ₹१,००० द्रव्यदंडाची शिक्षा, तसेच कलम १० पॉस्को अंतर्गत ५ वर्षांच्या सश्रम कारावासाची व ₹१,००० द्रव्यदंडाची शिक्षा सुनावण्यात आली आहे.

Dear @C_ShekharSawant and @MumbaiPolice sir, it is all very nice to pat each other on the back and not understand the reasons behind this useless majdoori.

1. The green patch you see with the mud is the reason the drain is blocked. You don't need that on the curbside; it is not a drawing room.

2. The stormwater drain is of a stupid design and not the kind I have shown in the 3 pics here.

The Indian municipality is so backward despite its wealth that it can't even google to see how these things are done by the West, who designed these urban elements in the first place.
