My parents came to this country from Korea in search of opportunity and a better future for their children. Like so many immigrant families, they worked hard, made sacrifices, and believed deeply in the promise of the American Dream. 

That story is not unique to my family. It is the story of so many families across Orange County and across this country. Immigrants are our neighbors, small business owners, students, service members, caregivers, and community leaders. Now more than ever, we must be clear: immigrants are not a threat to this country. 

I’m proud to celebrate the immigrant communities that make Orange County such a vibrant place to call home, and to keep fighting for a country that honors their dignity, contributions, and dreams.
