If this rogue Blue Ribbon Committee hearing is deemed unofficial and unauthorized — meaning there is no proper secretariat and it is excluded from the Senate records — it completely loses its "in aid of legislation" status.

Aside from walking straight into a toxic cocktail of cyberlibel, slander, and perjury, it’s a massive waste of taxpayers' money — they literally wasted ₱25 million a day in Senate operating expenses for pure political drama!

Once that absolute immunity is gone, they are completely exposed.

Because those wild, scripted allegations were live-streamed online, the targeted politicians can easily slap them with cyberlibel, which carries much heavier jail time than ordinary libel or oral defamation.

And since they swore under oath to manufactured lies, they are completely liable for perjury!

They didn't just commit one crime; they literally handed their targets the perfect legal playbook to lock them up.

@jesusfalcis Attorney, 12 pa rin naman ang majority kasi suspended na rin si Jinggoy by virtue of Sec. 5 of Plunder Law. Ni hindi na kailangan pa iinvoke ang Avelino vs. Cuenco. In fact, electing the Senate President Pro Tempore was smart because now the Supreme Court cannot do anything.
