@VermillionWorks That said, I still draw stuff behind the balloons. Even though no one can see, I can't stand to leave it empty!

@VermillionWorks I use a separate vector program where I'll create balloons and lettering, often before I begin the art. Once the art kicks off I link a png of the page to experiment with balloon placement and the two evolve together.

@BladeoftheS I live in the US. It's not uncommon for people to decline life-saving treatment so they don't bankrupt their family. They die to save their family from financial ruin.

Perhaps don't do that, UK.
