@YGaritaonaindia@NatureMedicine Yeah it'll be important to generate the evidence for what is coming... Doctors can be quite conservative and/or be prone to bias, so robust evidence and education will be essential
"Experts" really do not want to believe this (see Topol's "this was not anticipated", even though this is just Rich Sutton 101), nor do IT departments, but they'll learn eventually I guess
Medicine discovers the bitter lesson: frontier LLMs (here GPT 5.2, Opus 4.6, Gemini 3.1) outperform specialized "clinical AI" (e.g. OpenEvidence) in a blind test.
Even funnier that hospital IT are more likely to approve the *specialized* versions despite them being worse.
Twenty years ago, climate denial was a problem of the right. Today, AI denial is a problem of the left, and the consequences could be even more disastrous.

Proud to present on behalf of NOTCH @onctrainees at my first ASCO!
Our UK-wide study showed no diff. in PFS/OS with C1 ToD Rx in aNSCLC >50% PDL1 in sinusoidal Cox model, but sig interaction with NLR.
Grateful for all the discussions and feeling inspired @ASCO#ASCO26#LCSM
At some point every Holocaust museum will be forced to include an exhibit on what’s happening in Gaza right now. It’s only a matter of time. Dr. Nick Maynard of Oxford University medical school has been a witness to the genocide.
Delighted to present our NOTCH study on time-of-day Rx in aNSCLC PDL1≥50% at ASCO 2026.
Very excited for my first ASCO congress in person and looking forward to it. Please drop by to say hi at the lung cancer poster session on Sunday morning!

I feel like OpenAI could announce they found a cure for cancer and most people would just go, oh, cool I guess, but I doubt it actually reasons like a human its more like statistical shape rotation, and then move on like its no big deal and thats just the new normal
An OpenAI model has achieved a major breakthrough in mathematics, by disproving a central conjecture in discrete geometry that was first posed by Paul Erdős in 1946.
This is the first time AI has autonomously solved a prominent open problem central to a field of mathematics.
This young Palestinian Christian is Layan Nasser, a member of St Peter's Anglican Church in Birzeit, occupied West Bank.
She has been imprisoned 3 times by 'israel'.
Church of England bishops criticised her 2024 abduction at gunpoint in a dawn raid by the IOF.
The Bishop of Chelmsford (Rt Rev'd Dr Guli Francis-Dehqani) visited Layan's family in the West Bank and lit a candle for her in her chapel in England.
Layan's detentions:
Summer 2021: 2 months in military detention — accused of student activism with the Democratic Progressive Student Pole, a university group 'israel' designated 'unlawful'.
April – Dec 2024: Administrative detention (8 months). Arrested from her home. Held without charge or trial, based on secret intelligence declaring her a 'security threat'.
October 2025: Re‑detained & prison sentence (7.5 months). Re‑arrested during a court session at Ofer Military Court. Convicted in absentia the month prior (after the court told her legal team the hearing had been postponed) on retroactive charges from her 2021 university activism.
Thank God for her release today. Another Palestinian legend.
Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.
Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.
🚨 Save the Date!

a great test of "would you have been chill with owning slaves, if you'd been born into a slave-owning family" is whether or not you're vegetarian today
