The Coates family are worth billions, yet throughout their ownership of @stokecity we've still had to operate within the same rules as everyone else.
They've invested hugely in Stoke-on-Trent, creating jobs through Bet365 and contributing millions to local charities, education and the NHS.
But none of that gives them, or anyone else, a free pass on football's financial regulations.
If the allegations against Man City are proven, the ramifications are enormous. The damage done to the integrity of the game would be immeasurable.
Yet all we seem to hear is denial and deflection.
Personally, I hope the Premier League throw the book at them.
Do you realise whose memories you stole?
Sunderland, Watford and Stoke fans could’ve been celebrating the first major trophy in their clubs history.
Those 6 points you stole from relegated teams could’ve completely changed the trajectory of where Cardiff, Swansea, Stoke, West Brom, Birmingham, QPR, Bolton and Wigan are today.
And that’s before you even get into the teams who missed out on the UCL/UEL by a couple of points (Leicester fans now have to endure Russell Martin)
Your memories came at the expense of everyone else’s, you’re a disgrace to the sport.
They’ve got the money to be competing at the top end of the table.
So surely there has to be an internal review and a proper one as to why since they got relegated in 17/18 season & since then they’ve not finished above 14th, that’s mental.
From the outside looking in, every player/coach who goes to Stoke you expect to fail/be sacked, and that can’t continue to be the thoughts around what’s such a good club.
It’s not bad luck, it’s not unfortunate, something needs to change, because there’s zero direction.
Our issues last season at @stokecity were not enough cover at full backs and our strike force.
Come the last game of pre season our is issue are not enough cover at full backs and our strike force.
Not great @JonWalters19
So Spence has initiated the contact?
Can anyone explain that to me?
Mbappe initiated it against Morocco but that was given?
Spence has beaten his man and is stepping across to control and protect the ball.
That’s the definition of a shocker.
Confused by this Norway ‘we were robbed’ perspective…
- Haaland push = foul
- Spence penalty = favoured Norway
- missed 2 yellows for kicking ball away = favoured Norway
When you actually break it down, England got ONE decision go their way.
Norway, multiple.
It’s got to the stage now: ‘why would you bother wasting ur money on it’.
The fans are lost again. No hope coming into games. Expecting to lose as we enter the ground.
Disgraceful performance. The fans deserve so much better with several sold out away ends
