My paper on #EnvironmentalDNA is now available !!! In this experimental study, we found that temperature, species, and water types had a strong effect on the production and degradation of #eDNA.

My first paper ! I started working on this project as an undergrad with @jeanseb_moore, in a class aiming to initiate students to research. After a lot of hard work, I am so happy that it has finally been published !! I am very grateful to everyone who helped me achieve this goal
Our team is grateful for the opportunity to share our research at the Canadian Conference For Fisheries Research! #CCFFRSCL2021

Happy Monday! Check out our latest @biorxivpreprint on how activity + metabolic rate + species identity influence #eDNA shedding of #fish (https://t.co/DupJMxX8NA)
THANK YOU everyone for the FINtastic and overwhelming response to sharing the diversity in fish science!
This makes me SO happy and I hope you’ve found new people as well. Please continue to share, these are *only* 128 of the many faces!
I am very happy to present my project at this virtual poster session of the 2020 @EtudiantIBIS day. The goal of this project is to assess how biotic and abiotic parameters influence the production and degradation of environmental DNA. #posterIBIS2020 1/8
In conclusion, these results show that many parameters can influence the quantity of eDNA detected. We must be cautious when comparing samples taken from different times of year, different species, and from lakes and rivers with very different water characteristics. 7/8
