This time of year is always so weird as it’s usually been when major life events have happened pretty consistently throughout my life. Got me contemplating and reevaluating things everytime
Finding myself thinking back to this time last year when I was probably at my lowest point. Crying to my parents in public, begging a psychopath to give me the love I deserved, not knowing what to do with my life, feeling stuck in Suffolk
I’m now in a job that is probably the least stressful I’ve had, in a relationship that constantly reassures me without asking for it, in a home that is nothing but comforting and a city that thrives off creativity
Catching yourself realising you’re a full blown adult, managing a cafe with a team of 15+ people, most of which are younger than you, is a weird feeling. When did I become a grown up
I’ve spent 2 weeks basically building a cafe that I’m opening tomorrow while also moving into a new flat from two different locations, safe to say I’m fucking knackered. But. New month, dream job & living with the love of my life🤙🏼
triggers me when people are accused of being “boring” for not drinking. Mate if you can’t enjoy yourself without relying on a drink then surely you are the boring one no?????
If I’m ever feeling meh about life I try to remind myself that I was an anxiety ridden teenager that didn’t have direction. I’m now about to be a manager of an independant cafes new site in a city I love, living with someone I love even more. Check yourself. Life comes fast
They've seen me in all my darkness and in all my light. They're with me in strength and struggle. 5yrs go by like days when every moment with them is my best life. Even when cleaning up endless poop or stepping on furball sick!Being your dad is my greatest honor. Happy Birthday!
