@SonnieJohnson He didn’t get everything he wanted. Specifically this was the very issue he pushed for expanding and extending the child tax credit. It was successful during the pandemic, it expired and the house won’t pass it and it’s not filibuster proof in the senate
@ECaliberSeven House tie remains until broken. In the meantime Senate choses VP. VP acts until House chooses. If neither picks. Speaker is interim. if no Speaker, Pro Tem of the Senate until the above happens. Expect deal making, jockeying, chaos, attempted coups if this occurs.
