Keeping in mind the rising fuel costs in the country, I bought an MG Windsor EV a few months ago. I genuinely believed I was making a smart decision. Unfortunately, what followed has been one of the worst ownership experiences of my life.
About a month ago, while returning from my son's school, a speeding Mahindra Thar rammed into my car from behind. My vehicle was moving at barely 30–35 km/h when the impact pushed it into an Innova ahead. The rear section of the car suffered significant damage.
The very same day, I handed the vehicle over to MG's service center for repairs.
From that point onward, for weeks, I kept making the same phone call:
"When will my car be ready ?"
Every time, I received a different excuse.
Last Saturday , I was informed that the repair work had been completed and only the insurance company's delivery order was pending. I was assured that the order would arrive on Monday and the car would be handed over immediately.
Monday came and went.
By afternoon, having heard nothing, I decided to visit the workshop myself.
And that's when the real story began.
The service advisor responsible for my vehicle didn't even know where the car was parked. After searching across three floors, we finally discovered it in the basement.
What I saw there left me speechless.
The car was in worse condition than it had been immediately after the accident.
At that moment, I realized that my biggest mistake wasn't the accident it was buying an MG. In the last 20 years, I have owned vehicles from almost every major automobile manufacturer. I've dealt with repairs, insurance claims, and service centers countless times. But I have never experienced such disorganization, negligence , and lack of accountability from any company.
Keeping a customer's vehicle for nearly a month, providing misleading updates, and then not even knowing where the car is parked is not poor service it's complete disrespect for the customer's time , trust, and money.
As I was leaving the workshop, I told the advisor "Brother, sell this car for whatever you can get even if I have to take a loss of a few lakhs. I don't have the courage to bring it home anymore. If I ever have to come back to this workshop again, I might genuinely lose my mind."
People may debate how good or bad the MG Windsor EV is as a product.
But as far as MG's after-sales service is concerned, my verdict is final.
This has been, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any automobile company.
If you're considering buying an MG vehicle, don't just visit the showroom. Spend some time at their service center first. The difference between the two may help you make a much better decision.

This 2-hour Stanford lecture breaks down how models like ChatGPT and Claude are actually built, clearer than what many people in top AI roles ever get exposed to.
Save this and set aside two hours today. It might end up being the most valuable thing you learn all week.
@samuelluckhurst This would appear to be wrong given in mid March the extension is almost done as per ornstein.. please check sources before commenting

Jio Hotstar now features one minute of unskippable ads every 5 to 10 minutes of a movie. Which means for a two hour movie you watch at least 15 min of ads!
Ruins the movie watching experience and wastes your time. The greed knows no bounds! Time to sail the high seas again.
A Pani Puri vendor from Mumbai's Mulund area has dragged a local politician to court after not providing him a stall space on footpath despite paying ₹3 Lakhs to him.
The vendor alleged that the local politician has sold the footpath space to a dosa stall vendor at ₹17,000 per month and broken his deal to buy the space at a total of ₹5 Lakhs.
BMC's response - Assistant commissioner says - I have not received any complaints and nor do I have any information about it.
Politician's response - You come and meet me, don't publish the story. Let's talk. This is to malign my image.
Story by @DiwakarSharmaa in Mumbai Mirror today.
Someone at Sony LIV seems to be under immense revenue pressure & making very stupid short term decisions. 1.5 min of ads (2x15 sec+2x30 sec) after every 3 min is unforgivable. On one occasion they repeated an ad in the same sequence.
This leads to 4 things:
1. Paying customers like me who made the mistake of renewing last month won't next year. Twice now I've given up watching highlights because almost 25% of airtime is ads. Every time you start a stream, you're subjected to 3-4 ads.
2. They'll piss off advertisers who won't return. Seeing the same ad 8 times in 10 minutes creates negative perception for viewers.
3. They're creating grounds for justification of advertising regulation in streaming like there was in TV. At some point in time, MIB will do to online advertising what it did to TV ads.
4. They're making it feasible for Ministry of Health to argue that you can insert anti Tobacco ads in the beginning and middle of a show. This is a mess that Amazon has also created. MoH can argue: if you can do it to make money why can't you put public service ads.
Well done Sony LIV, in screwing over the few people who are actually paying for your service.

**Legal Notice**
Dabur issued a legal notice to remove 6 of my recent videos from my 3-part series on honey brands that failed the CSE's NMR tests in 2020 on Instagram & Facebook. Dabur claimed the NMR test is unreliable in India due to its database method yet passing NMR test is mandatory for exporting Honey. The only NMR testing facility, in Mumbai, tests honey solely for export, not random samples. However, Dabur advertised in newspapers and on Instagram that their honey is NMR-tested and certified. Many brands sell a cheaper variant alongside a costly "NMR-tested" variant. Why is this permitted in India? If brands sell 100% pure honey at ₹250/kg, why offer an NMR-tested variant at ₹500 for 500g? What does this imply?
I'll have to delete the videos, as I stated Dabur "FAILED" the test, and as per FSSAI, NMR testing does not determine pass or fail in India. But for Exports "yes" it does.
The results and the matter both are crystal clear.
But are the intentions of FSSAI and major honey brands authentic?
India is doomed guys

We are into Day 13, slowly feeling like politicians work on the principle that leave us long enough that we get habituated to the problem. But NO. Enough is ENOUGh. I will post this daily till I get a reply ( Day 13 ), Just yesterday my auto almost toppled because of utterly useless road in the so called - Silicon valley road of Hyderabad. Why, because of corrupt government employees and associated contractors.
As an Indian citizen I am asking the 2 big parties. Corrupt officers what ever level should be jailed for 15 years. Corrupt politicians should be jailed for 30 years. This is the law we need. Which party is ready to bring this?
@narendramodi sir or any one from @BJP4India@RahulGandhi sir or any one from @INCIndia
Can you respond, are you ready to implement the above law? If not we Indians will find an alternative. Thank you. #CORRUPTION #India
