I’m sharing a link with 1000+ qullamaggie style charts .

How can one measure stock price extension?
In my view, decision-making in the trading business should rely on quantifiable data. A method I personally employ for scaling out and taking partial profits involves setting a threshold based on the multiple of Average True Range (ATR%) from the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA). For instance, I find it beneficial to start taking profits when positions exceed 8-10 times the ATR% from the 50-SMA. This practice helps prevent second-guessing or becoming emotionally attached to any particular position.
A relevant example illustrating this concept is the case of $PLTR, $SOFI, $TSLA, $VRT, $NVDA which experienced a stall and subsequent decline after reaching 11 times the ATR% from its 50-day moving average.
If I could only trade one "setup" for the rest of my life, this would be it.
A large portion of my system revolves around trading high tight flags, big base breakouts, and Stage 2 transitions -- all variations of the same underlying concept:
Compression → Expansion. KNOW THIS!
Before every meaningful markup phase, price has to rest, volatility has to contract, and ownership has to transfer from weak hands to strong hands.
and my job is to identify where that transfer is happening before the move becomes obvious.
Here’s exactly how I look at it:
1) Strength always comes first:
Every great setup starts with a linear move up.
I’m not interested in trying to guess bottoms or force reversals. I want proof that demand is present, and that means strong upside momentum, increasing volume, and relative strength versus the market and peers.
Ideally, the stock is already separating from its group. That’s usually the first clue institutions are involved, and if it’s not leading, I’m usually not interested.
2) The base is where the trade is built:
After the initial push, strong stocks don’t collapse. The leaders digest/consolidate the prior move up.
This is where I slow down and observe behavior around the 9/21/50 EMAs. The best names build orderly bases, volume dries up, ranges tighten, and price continues making higher highs and higher lows even while going sideways.
This is where I’m planning the trade. I already know my levels, my risk, and where I’m wrong before the breakout happens.
3) The EMA pullbacks tell you who's in control:
One of my favorite tells of institutional demand is how price reacts to the 9/21 and 50 EMAs.
When a stock pulls into these levels, briefly undercuts, and then quickly reclaims them, it’s telling you something important:
buyers are actively defending the trend.
That’s often where I’ll begin building a position or preparing for adds, assuming the broader structure remains intact. Weak stocks don’t recover quickly, but strong stocks do.
4) Tightness is the signal to move to lower TF's:
The tighter the range, the more attention I pay.
This is where I’m zoomed in on both the daily and intraday charts. Small candles, overlapping bars, low volume, EMAs stacked tightly underneath price.
When price compresses near resistance while continuing to make higher lows, pressure builds. I like to think of it as energy being stored.
... and below the surface level, this is where buyers and sellers find equilibrium (the calm before the storm). This is where preparation matters most.
Institutions don’t advertise when they’re accumulating, but they sure do leave clues... FIND THEM!
5) Breakout is the trigger, not the setup:
The breakout itself should be screaming at you.
I want to see increasing volume, a clean push through resistance, and ideally a close near the highs. That’s confirmation (not the place to start thinking).
After the breakout, my focus shifts to behavior:
"Does price hold the 9/21 day?"
"Does volume increase on pushes and contract on pullbacks?"
often, the first pullback after the breakout offers the best risk/reward if missed.
In simple terms, how I use (9,21,50) EMAs:
9 EMA = momentum
21 EMA = momentum + structure
50 EMA = trend confirmation
When all three are rising and aligned, the trend is healthy. That’s when I press the accelerator and put my foot on the gas pedal!
The key theme throughout all of this is "PAY-tience"
The best breakouts are created through time, structure, and confirmation. (IT TAKES TIME) When you align environment, theme, structure, price, volume, and timing, you put yourself in a position to catch high R/R opportunities as they emerge, not after they’re obvious.
"Compression leads to expansion."
"The bigger the base, the higher in space."
This is how you catch leaders before the move, not by prediction, but by preparation.
This setup will pay you for decades if you respect it.

More and more realizing it’s okay to be extremely picky, autistically detail-oriented, and generally nitpicking and judgemental.
If I'm to be in a stock for months, quarters (years?) I can't settle for anything but the cream of the crop.
Long term chart (W/M) + daily chart + volume + fundamentals(EPS/Rev growth) + story + market.
They all need to line up.
Literally just half a dozen to a dozen stocks at most make the cut, even in a great bull market.
Currently the list of these A+ stocks are.
$HOOD
$NVDA
$RDDT
$PLTR
$CRDO
$ALAB
I've done OK, but not great. Been in $HOOD $PLTR $NVDA since the beginning of the run. But position sizing not where i'd want it, a bit too timid. Only $HOOD I can consider a job well done so far.
$RDDT was late to join the party but it was such an exceptional candidate and a late start can be remedied by a move like it had after the ER.
$ALAB was the same but I fucked up on that one. Let myself get shaken out the day after ER.
$CRDO has been tricky and I consider this another fuckup.
Just look at these charts and the sea of blue numbers. This is what future model books will be made of.
@CryptoBheem@Bheem_Lounge My trading journey started as a way to make more time for my family. I want to achieve financial freedom and spend every extra time I get with my kids. I personally feel that your edge is how you risk manage your trades, something I want to be mentored on.
so here’s what we’re gonna do for my latest giveaway, after a long time uhm**
Instead of making it the usual ‘win a certain number of money’, I wanna do something that can set someone up for life😇
So this time, i’ll pick 5 winners, all of them would be put into @Bheem_Lounge & mentored by myself (once im back from travel) & og server members (that’s like $5000 per winner if they had to buy it instead).
Next, after getting mentored & being consistently profitable on your small account/demo whichever it is; I’ll hook everyone with a $100k funded account from Breakout (another $1000 per winner there)
So in total you ‘5 potential winners’ get $25,000 in discord setups/private messaging access covered & $5000 in funded accounts ($30k total)
👉What I need from you to enter:
1. Like/RT (the usual😼)
2. Follow me (no bot/new accounts)
3. Comment why you started trading/reason for being here (most important)
And most of all, goodluck because i’m very picky with choosing someone to mentor😸
