🇳🇬 JUST IN: Disturbing Video Shows Bandits Brutally Attacking Villagers in Northern Nigeria – Man and His Children Tied, Beaten, and Pleading for Mercy in Rural Village
The 59-second clip captures victims seated on the ground with hands bound while armed assailants strike and push them, shouting commands in Hausa.
Cries of “Don Allah!” (Please!) and “Na gaji!” (I’m hurting!) echo as the villagers endure relentless abuse. 💔
Ya Allah, I want to marry for your sake, fall in love for your sake, grant me a marriage filled with love that brings peace, a home built on mercy, understanding, and patience, and a family raised in iman and affection. Ya Allah give me a spouse who is kind to my heart, gentle in words, strong in responsibility, and sincere in deen. May my home be a place of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah. Ameen.
One of the scariest punishment in Islam isn't the fire, it's when Allah stops guiding you. When you're left alone with your own egos & own desires. No signs hit. No advice feels deep. You become numb & you think you're fine.
My Hafiz teacher told me today that “ﷲ gave people different types of gifts. Some people are good at waking up for Tahajjud, some are good at charity/ helping others, some are good at memorising, etc. We gotta be thankful by doing it to the best of our abilities.”
It shifted my perspective maybe it will shift yours too.
Was reading Surah An’am and there’s a verse that translates to “your Lord has made it obligatory on himself to be merciful to you” and I put my Quran down and took a deep sigh. A higher being who has nothing to gain from me has made it compulsory on HIMSELF to be merciful to me?
Pratik Joshi had been living in London for six years. A software professional, he’d long dreamed of building a life abroad for his wife and three young children, who stayed back in India.
After years of waiting for due clearances the dream was finally coming true. Just two days ago, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, a renowned doctor in Udaipur, resigned from her job. The bags were packed, goodbyes said, the future within reach.
This morning, the family of five, filled with hope and excitement, boarded Air India flight 171 to London. They clicked a selfie. Sent it to relatives. A one-way journey to a new life. But they never made it. The plane crashed. No one survived.
In a matter of moments, a lifetime of dreams turned to ash. A brutal reminder, life is terrifyingly fragile. Everything you build, everything you hope for, everything you love, it all hangs by a thread. So while you can, live, love, and don’t wait for happiness to start tomorrow.
Tomorrow night marks the blessed last ten nights of Ramadan.
1. Make sure you have the intention to catch Laylatul Qadr, as the Prophet ﷺ mentioned the one who observes it with “faith and seeking the reward.”
2. Plan your schedule around it and cut out every possible distraction. Get just enough sleep to be able to strive for the night and function during the day.
3. Forgive anyone you may have bad blood with today. It’s not worth it. The name we call upon Allah with is Al Affuw (the Pardoner), and Allah says “Let them pardon and forgive. Don’t you love that Allah forgive you?”
4. Make dua for your ummah every night, especially in Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, etc. These are nights of power with powerful moments of prayer. Now is not the time to forget them.
May Allah allow us all to catch this night. May He forgive us for our sins, and grant victory to the oppressed. Ameen
Tomorrow is Monday .
Fast if you are able to, if not earn reward by reminding others.
Remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers (Q51:55).
Baarakallahu Feekum.
His wife, 5 daughters, and 1 son were murdered by Israel. Then they start shooting at the ambulances trying to help. There will never be a return to a status quo after Gaza. Israel’s occupation will end.
