Isis Lodge’s annual White Table dinner; to which partners, non-Masonic friends, and potential candidates are all invited. This occasion also marked the first time in a few years that the lodge has conducted a double-initiation. An all-round excellent day!

First meeting of 2023, and the brethren are beginning to gather. At this meeting we will remember a departed member - a long-serving Secretary and Treasurer of the lodge who will be greatly missed by all.

The members of Isis Lodge join all Freemasons in mourning the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

This meeting is also our annual White Table when partners, non-Masonic friends and potential candidates join us for a fabulous dinner at @OrientalclubW1. Many of us wear full evening dress for the occasion, as you may see!

A remarkable meeting today. We raised Robbie to the third degree and, owing to the rail-strike-induced absence of our WM and other senior members, were generously assisted by our IPM and two expert brethren from Apollo Lodge.

Huge congratulations to our IPM, W Bro Nigel Meares, on his investiture yesterday as Assistant Grand Registrar. A thoroughly-deserved reward for the tireless work Nigel has done behind the scenes to support UGLE.

This weeks Masonic adventure sees a visit to Isis Lodge 7781 on Saturday at UGLE. An old army friend from our time in BAOR is WM. Recently made contact for the first time since 1981. I hear rumour that sickness may see me in a Wardens Chair for a Passing. Looking forward to it.

Very pleased to have received my Mentor’s pin and certificate today. Thoroughly enjoyed the seminar, and it’s inspired me to redouble our efforts at making sure all members are getting the most out of their freemasonry.

A terrific evening at my Chapter. Unique ritual, wonderful atmosphere - it’s pretty hard to beat!
