With PEI's broken election system, Islanders don't get what they vote for. If they did, the circles in this video would match.
Instead we get "clean-sweep" inflated majorities with almost no opposition MLA's elected to hold government accountable.

Islanders for PR made a budget submission, asking the government to provide money in the budget for a Citizens' Assembly as called for in Motion 71, which passed on Oct 17, '21. We're asking our supporters to let their MLAs know --this is important and they want to see it funded!

#elxn43 Much hand wringing among @CBCNews pundits about Liberals not having a single MP to represent Alberta in government.
Only @acoyne states the obvious: this destructive regional divisiveness in parliament is a function of our deeply dysfunctional FPTP electoral system.
With PR all of the parties (except the Bloc) would have representation in all of the provinces and our parliament would reflect our true political diversity.
Canadaโs new HoC makes the country look far more divided than it really is & no party can be satisfied. Our skewed voting system has, incredibly, given LPC 34 more seats than the CPC despite the CPC getting 1.5% more votes than the LPC.

Look up where and when you can vote -
and take someone who isn't committed to voting, with you when you go!
The broken promise on #electoralreform is coming up at debate after debate. Often anyone who asks about #proportionalrepresentation gets a big round of applause.
The "no consensus" excuse isn't being bought by voters.
