Threadguy says wearing a Whoop or Oura ring is an IQ test
"You wake up and your Whoop tells you that you slept like shit, you feel like shit, and then you feel like shit, why would you ever submit yourself to that?"
"You will never catch me with anything related to telling me how well I slept and how I'm supposed to feel the next day"
There are few things more high status than:
- Having an elite physique and not giving a fck about “fitness”
- Pulling beautiful women without running “game”
- Playing all sports at a high level regardless of how much you play
- Holding steadfast opinions without needing to “win” an argument
- Being deeply well read and not projecting yourself as a “intellectual”
- Knowing you’re the most dangerous in a fight without ever getting confrontational
- Making serious money without giving af about what other people do for a living
@thefireneverdie@WestsideLAGuy So what. Life isn't a drug tested sport. Everyone at the top is taking performance enhancing drugs. Why wouldn't you take advantage of them if it will lead you to higher levels of success?
I had a whoop for about a month and it made my sleep worse
I put too much emphasis on getting a good sleep score because I believed the score dictated how productive my day would be. Sleep started to turn into a ‘performance.’
I believe the excess importance i placed on sleep score made me overthink at night- as a result i wasn’t able to relax before bed
Fuck the insights, retardmaxx
2026 was such an incredible year for me.
I flourished in every capacity. Superseded all of my goals in unfathomable ways. God opened avenues of success in my life I didn't know were possible, my loved ones remained healthy, safe, thriving.
Thankful for the person I became.
Thankful for the mission I advanced in doing so.
Looking forward to 2027, I know it'll be even better.
Grateful for it all.
