Human becoming. Family man. Wannabe stoic. Product and engineering @medidata. Previously, VP of Product @tweddlegroup, co-founder at ChronoTrack. Bird by bird.
@Delta upgrade certificate benefit is garbage. Highly recommend you choose something else. They don’t seem to actually upgrade you, instead they put you on a wait list along with others without the certificates. Defeats the purpose.
Get your words together. Writing well is thinking well. Peterson is spot on. Thus the danger of outsourcing your words to AI. Your mind might stop trying to bother with the thinking bit too.
@juanivillarejo We're not at a point where any useful products are mass produced with AI. Not sure we'll be there any time soon. Remember level 5 autonomous vehicles?
@elonmusk@Tesla Having a fully email-based support system might seem great when you get fast response times, but we've been emailing for weeks about an overcharge issue and 0 response. Why is it that you can't get a hold of a human on the phone?
@SalCopywriter@thesamparr That’s not true. Many known brands have been bought by Luxotica, but there are many great craft brands that are independent. Dita and Jacques Marie Mage are my favorites. But there are tens more in diff price categories.
@rjs This is gold. I need to reread the book. Feel like this every year or so. His books should be read and reread by every PM/Designer/Engineer. Ever since reading Battle, I recommend it as the first book, as it brings much of his work together empirically.
... and so much more!
If you feel like Shape Up might help your team improve but are afraid of being turned down, Ilya's experience might just be what you need to get started! Listen here: https://t.co/XHCR8lfN8V
@EllenRhymes Yup still remember publishing a book. Publisher set the page count at 350+. We finished the book at 150-200 and had to go back and fill the book with BS to meet the page count 🤷🏻♂️. Very sad.
@mjackson I probably have just about every backpack. From Peak, to Tom Bing, to Waterfield. Nothing really better than Evergoods IMO. https://t.co/ytOkPByanA
@davidarens@Cennydavidsson@allenholub Shape up is not really a formula. To me it’s a set of first order agile principles. Yes it also has an opinion on how one can implement them, but principles are what matters.
