I don't know who might need to hear this, but for anyone out there that thinks they can't afford to invest in stocks...you can start an investing account and contribute to grow it monthly for as little as $10/month. Dividend reinvestment and compounding interest really help!
@FaithfulDude10 When you think your significant other and family don't need you, that is exactly when they do as much or more than ever. You need to regain or find your purpose and North Star again. Best place to look is the Bible and prayer.
@creation247 If you need an engagement bump, there are simpler ways. I am one of the many that read, follow and consume content but seldom interact. I want you to get paid, but I don't want to get lost in the social media vortex that steals all my workout and family time. Hello.
@england_sh46924@Xman628797@NickJFreitas You can go to the polls...or look South. Other possibility might be crossing a big pond to your East. (If you look far enough, you could try Greenland?)
@Budgetdog_ I've read through it all multiple times in mixed order never "cover to cover." I find it easier to take it book by book and group the chapters. There are many "read through the Bible in 'x' days" guides out there if you search around. I recommend discussing what you read.
If you want to invest but don't know your options, ask people that have been where you are & those that are closer to where you want to be so they can help you get there also. At the very least they can point you in the right direction--research doesn't just come from the library
I have an associates degree, but that didn't stop me from pursuing jobs because they "required" candidates to have a bachelor's degree. In the same way, just because I haven't been professionally trained as a stock investor or trader doesn't stop me from investing and prospering.
@WCInvestor I would wager the ones that find themselves in financial trouble are not investing (or aren't investing wisely), which is very likely due to living beyond their means before they can truly afford it.
I’m a 24 year old that has never made more then $19 an hour and I’ve built up a 60k+ portfolio that pays me over $1100 dollars in dividend income a year. Anyone can do this with hard work and dedication. Don’t let not making much hold you back!
@Blind__Luck If you hit a winning streak, why not take an even bigger gamble. I believe the old adage goes "strike while the iron is hot!" https://t.co/PMAZLDyLK5
I'm not after early retirement. I'm after the ability to work when and where I want on my terms. A "job optional" lifestyle.
A few years ago, I had no idea this could ever be possible.
Working hard to make this a reality.
@theDividendKid Ask for company stock in lieu of the raise, and keep buying the dividends and if they give you the company stock sell it to buy even more dividend stocks! Feed that piggy.
