@brezshares@nolimithodl why isn't there a cold-star security issue? Could an inference lab with 100s of MWs of compute live today just 51% Pearl when it becomes valuable enough? BTC security worked bc it wasn't launched into a world that already had EH/s of live ASICs
@clanker_@Rewkang I worked in tardfi and still have a lot of conversations there and have heard both takes. Anecdotal but not sure there is consensus yet, although I tend to believe the greedier view wins until proven wrong
Stargate volumes have fallen into the abyss while most other bridges have seen steady volumes. @AcrossProtocol now at #1, becoming clear this is the choice of cross-chain intents for actual users.

@MacroMate8@ethena What is the reliability of Copper, Cobo, and CEFFU in a scenario where exchanges actually go down? How airtight is the customer’s legal claim on assets held by these providers?
Also why is the insurance fund so small? Looks like 1m online vs 230m+ supply
@nope_its_lily Even for those who are willing to onboard size is always very small bc of these risks. I do think your argument is better made with $MSTR than $BITO, but again a spot ETF is clearly a better product and imo investors care about that. Will be interesting to see what happens
@nope_its_lily Most US domiciled funds are not willing to touch spot crypto tokens bc it involves onboarding with crypto exchanges and/or custody providers, which are often offshore and in a regulatory gray area. From a risk and compliance perspective much easier to trade an ETF than spot BTC
