@carl_feynman This is something I noticed when seeking the blackboard photos of lectures summaries. I’d listened to him referencing them, at the start of each lecture recording, so sought them out. But when I found them I discovered I needn’t have bothered because I can’t read any of it!
@mascarasaturn Brace truly experimental doesn’t sound great. Like if I make an experimental track I’ll pick a few things out of it that work then use that in a track following more musical rules. But the actual experimental track with 5 overlapping time signatures? That’s for the vault
@rich_coupe@marius64885203@cyberpyre Yes but no. Human brains do not work like artificial neural networks. It’s an analogy to help to better understand the technology, not a technological implementation of natural phenomena in the brain
Shitting on people for not knowing things is what stops people learning and instead pretending they already know. Allow people to embrace ignorance, without shame, as fuel for curiosity. It’s not a mark of intelligence to not know something
@SkinnyTuna Pop punk are Americans doing that British punk accent and this is the result. Goes full circle with British pop punk bands doing that same imitation accent
@amolitor99@uwukko I don’t only use duo, I have books, and I watch things, and I use things like DW, and a Spanish speaking girlfriend. Keeping my streak helps remind me to do other things even if duo by itself isn’t that great anymore
@amolitor99@uwukko I just do a bit each day. I started with German and currently doing Spanish. Some periods I get really into it and spend a couple hours a day, others I just make sure to get one lesson/story a day. Not every period is comparable to a full course, but it’s more than nothing.
