@clarabellum bodies respond differently to warmups.
def try swapping in the lunges. if that works then tada all done!
if you don't like them you can try googling "dynamic running warmup" or something similar and finding another routine that works better for your needs!

my other suggestion is having a 5 min dynamic warmup before you start running. i like this: https://t.co/9732IoocLB but there's a gazillion other warmup routines out there - you've gotta find the one that works for you (yay more experimentation lol)
@clarabellum that might mean more walking breaks or changing the paces of the walk/runs. it takes experimentation to find a balance that works for you but running shouldn’t hurt! your body isn’t an odometer - 30 minutes of working out is 30 minutes of working out. no matter the distance!
@clarabellum it’s kind of boring but running slower is my number one suggestion for situations like this. like...... should be able to talk without gasping for air pace. when i coached couch to 5k i always said that pace is close to what you could sustain for 5/6ish hours (hypothetically)
