Mothers stand as the quiet architects of our nation’s future, wielding a power more enduring than any force of law or sword: the sacred power of nurturing. With boundless love, we cradle fragile dreams; with tender comfort, we mend the wounds of the world; and with patient wisdom, we shape young hearts and minds. Through our devoted hands and steadfast spirits, we raise the next generation—not merely to survive, but to carry forward the cherished values of the United States: liberty tempered by responsibility, equality rooted in respect, opportunity seized with courage, and unity forged in compassion.
In every lullaby, every lesson, and every quiet sacrifice, a mother ensures that America’s soul endures, vibrant and true, for generations yet to come.
Today, I want to wish a heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, in every form she takes: the steadfast dads raising children alone, the grandparents pouring love into their grandchildren, the aunts who have stepped up, the women who long to hold a child of their own, and especially the angel mothers whose arms ache with heavenly remembrance.
Bringing a child into the world is a miracle, yet far greater is the daily labor of raising them to be good, principled, and productive citizens. There is no greater impact you can make on this nation than shaping the next generation to cherish, uphold, and defend the Constitution and the timeless values upon which the United States was founded.
If you are missing your mom today, know that you are held in the hearts and prayers of your fellow Americans. If she is still with you, call her. If politics has convinced you your parents are the enemy, set that aside and call them anyway. Do not let division fracture the family.
Family remains the bedrock of American values and the surest foundation for a strong and free republic.
I pray for healing across this nation—that every broken relationship between parent and child be restored. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
