Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar shared an endearing video of his pet dog, Bouncer. The clip shows him playing with the energetic dog in the rain, drying him, and feeding him a mango. Using a clever cricket joke, he noted the dog has boundless energy but no "line and length". #SachinTendulkar #Bouncer #CricketLegend #PetDog

💔🐾 HE DIDN'T KNOW HIS FRIEND WAS GONE FOREVER 🐾💔
Somewhere on an Indian street, two Indian Pariah Original 40,000 Years Old Breed community dogs spent every day together.
They searched for food together.
They slept side by side.
They protected each other from the rain, the heat, and the loneliness of life on the streets.
Then one day, one of them never got up again.
A vehicle struck him.
His friend didn't understand what death was.
He nudged him gently.
"Wake up."
No response.
He nudged him again.
"Come on, let's go. We have to find food."
Still nothing.
He circled around him, confused.
He waited.
He sniffed his face.
He licked his ears.
He lay beside him.
He stayed there long after everyone else had walked away.
Because unlike humans, he didn't see a "stray."
He saw his best friend.
The one who shared every meal.
The one who stood beside him when nobody else did.
And while people rushed past, busy with their lives, a dog sat beside a lifeless body, refusing to leave.
No speeches.
No politics.
No hatred.
Just love.
The kind of loyalty that asks for nothing in return.
Sometimes we call animals "just dogs."
Yet in moments like this, they remind us what friendship, grief, and unconditional love truly look like.
If a dog can mourn a friend, wait for him, and refuse to abandon him...
Then perhaps the question is not whether animals have emotions.
The question is whether we have forgotten ours.
🐾 Be kind to animals.
🐾 Stop Killing Animals.
🐾 Compassion saves lives.

Stray dogs need protection from humans as much as humans need protection from #StrayDogs. Dogs do not automatically attack people. In many cases, aggression is triggered by fear, abuse, or rough treatment. The focus should be on responsible management, vaccination, sterilisation, and preventing abuse, rather than treating all stray dogs as a threat.

UNVERIFIED ALLEGATIONS CANNOT JUSTIFY TAKING A PET FROM HIS HOME!
An Indie pet dog was allegedly seized from inside a caregiver's home in KA Block, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, based solely on unverified biting allegations.
Who authorized this? Since when can a pet be taken away from its home without evidence, due process, a proper inquiry, or a legal order? Homes are not open hunting grounds for RWAs, and pets are not objects that can be confiscated on the basis of allegations alone.
This raises serious concerns about abuse of authority, violation of citizens' rights, and the safety and welfare of animals. No pet should be taken away on the basis of unverified claims without a fair and transparent inquiry.
An immediate investigation is required to determine exactly what happened, who authorized the action, and whether established legal procedures were followed. If any individual or authority has acted beyond their legal powers, accountability must follow.
Further, if a dog-bite allegation has been made, the complainant should be required to provide the relevant medical and rabies treatment records to support the claim. Any false complaint intended to harass residents or remove animals from their homes must also be investigated and dealt with according to law.
The truth must come out. Due process cannot be replaced by intimidation, pressure, or arbitrary action.
We urge the authorities to intervene immediately and ensure that both the rights of citizens and the welfare of animals are protected.

For the past year, we designed hundreds of sections for concept projects, internal training, and trend explorations.
A lot of those designs were just sitting unused in our Figma files.
So we thought, why not give them away for free?
Today, we’re launching Blocks by Lander Studio.
A free library of design blocks, website sections, app screens, dashboard designs, logos and illustrations for designers.
Copy them, learn from them, repurpose them, or use them as inspiration.
Beta access is now open with website sections available for everyone to copy. Other categories are launching next.
Want early access to all categories?

Today, two women from two different countries broke down in tears on Twitter/X — over what is happening to dogs in their neighbourhoods and in their respective countries.
From Pakistan From India

Despite the borders that separate them, their grief was the same.
Their voices reflected the pain, helplessness, and heartbreak felt by countless animal lovers witnessing cruelty towards animals.
Must listen to understand.
Governments of both countries are silent over this.
Rescue update 💔
He didn’t deserve this.
A speeding vehicle crushed this innocent soul and left him helpless on the roadside unable to walk, scared, and in unbearable pain. Yet even through the suffering, his eyes still ask for love… for a second chance at life.
He is finally safe, but his treatment, scans, medicines, and recovery will need urgent support. Every small donation can help this sweet baby fight through the pain and stand again. 🙏❤️
Please help us save him.
Donate, share, and be his voice. Because kindness can heal what cruelty broke.

In memorium:
Mohini Mani, 1937–2026
Our mother, Mohini Mani, passed away early this morning, in her sleep, after a period of declining health. She was 89.
We are grateful for the care and support provided to her and our family by a number of medical professionals these last few years.
We are comforted, even in this time of grief, that she lived a long life and could be counted among the lucky ones – to have known the undying love and care of dear ones and the genuine respect of just about everyone who came to know her kind nature, selfless spirit, and quiet grace.
As someone who was part of the wave of Sindhis who migrated over to newly independent India at the time of Partition, as a child, leaving everything behind and starting over, she also derived immense satisfaction and pride from seeing her brood go on to do well in life.
Indeed, the credit for all that we have gone on to accomplish in our respective lives is owed substantially to her warm embrace, unwavering devotion, and wise counsel, which formed the very heart and soul of our home.
She was blessed to know a successful marriage of nearly six decades with our late father, and their cherished memories will continue to offer strength and comfort to us.
We are moved by the kind, heartfelt messages, condolences, and remembrances that have been pouring in, and we ask for your understanding if we are unable to take calls or are slow to respond to messages.
Her last rites will be a private, family affair. We trust that all who have known the ache of losing a parent or a beloved elder will respect our wish to grieve quietly, honoring her memory with the same equanimity, dignity, and gentle strength she showed us every single day of her life.
