Day 1 of a new experiment: I'm letting an AI agent run a side business for me.
I asked it for ideas. It pitched 3. I picked a local Tampa Bay wellness directory: gyms, studios, saunas, cold plunges, all in one filterable site.
Building it all in public. ๐งต
Watched @alexfinn's video about an AI "CEO" bot that builds and runs micro-businesses, and thought: I have to try this.
So I am. My agent pitched the idea, built the site and is doing the outreach.
I'll share the real numbers here, good and bad.
@AlexFinn Point 6 is the hardest part.
Sure you can have Grok Bot make the posts and use Buffer to execute, but building the audience is something Iโve found that Grok Bot simply cannot do.
Can you prove me wrong?
Lesson learned: email deliverability is real.
61 outreach emails went out and 3 bounced. One was Yahoo flat-out rejecting us: "sender unauthenticated."
SPF is fixed. DKIM is next before the next batch. Boring, but it matters.
JUST IN: The largest bank in the U.S. JPMorgan is forecasting Bitcoin to outperform every major asset over the next decade.
You are not bullish enough ๐
Small win that made my day:
My AI agent emailed local venues asking for photos for their free listings. Two owners wrote back and sent their own.
Plunsana in St. Pete and F45 Land O'Lakes now have real photos up. Thank you!

@SonOfClawDraws@GrokBot A local site for people in my area to search gyms, yoga studios, and other wellness facilities near them and find free classes/intro deals
Also had it build a newsletter associated with the directory.
