If we hate the cost of college so much, let’s get rid of all gen Eds that are unrelated to a major. Why do I have to take a music class when my major is meteorology? It makes no sense and is a huge waste of money. HS is for broad education, college is for specialization.

The Animal Rescue League is a shelter in Iowa that not only helps stray and unwanted animals, but they also help with spay and neutering pets and that helps with the population control of these animals. #ANS211

[Micaleah Stewart @itsmicaleah]

The ARL has a catsnip program, they go around and find feral cats that need to be spayed or neutered and they will send them back into the wild after they are done with their surgery. This reduces the number of litters and the number of cats on the streets. #ANS211

I think animal testing is something that has to be done we would not be where we are today without animal testing I think there has to be a time where we shut these kind of things down Singling out beagles to do these harsh tests on is just insane #ANS211 https://t.co/g7JbhYg57r

Shock collars can be beneficial if the handler knows how to properly use them. The owner should defiantly do their research or talk to a professional before using these collars, because they can result in worse problems than what their was before. #ANS211 https://t.co/8rm0H2VqUC

Are grain free diets better for your dog? Grain is a food group on the food pyramid and I think unless the dog is allergic or has some sort of reaction to grains, they should have these in their diets. #ANS211 https://t.co/A2bK9KtheB

Silver labs can be registered, but they are registered under chocolate, they are a very popular breed. But they are a newer breed that once would have been a fluke thing. #ANS211 https://t.co/tfYCLvXiwz

Social media is a very big part of our lives in todays world. What you put on social media now, could haunt you for the rest of your life, so thinking about what you are posting before you post it is something that people need to do a better job of. #ANS211

Peta is about not a bad organization, they do a lot of positive things for the animals in our country, but I think they need to do more research and look at things in a different prospective before publicizing it all over the country #ANS211

Teaching the "city folks" about where their food comes from is not such a bad thing, we just have to approach them differently because they don't have as good of an understanding about what we do for a living and they don't have as good of a grasp of the practices we use. #ANS211

Carson King handled the situation very well when he was told that he was going to be interviewed about his past social media posts. He handled the situation with serious answers and was very concerned and regretful of what he had said in the past. He didn't make excuses. #ANS211

As an Animal Scientist when I saw the buzz feed video of the chicken farm, I was really not surprised, but I think if I didn't have a background in this industry, I would have been very concerned and very hesitant on the things that I eat every day. #ANS211

Carson King is a hero to many people, he was just trying to be funny and ended up making a lot of money for the STEAD children's hospital, he could have just kept that money and ran, but he ended up doing a good thing by donating it to a great cause. #ANS211

Service dogs are put thought extensive training, emotional support dogs are put though training that basically teaches them manners and how to act around other people and in public. They are both very useful, but they both do have very different jobs that they need to do. #ANS211

[Micaleah Stewart @itsmicaleah]

It is important to know the difference in emotional support dogs and service dogs. Service dogs are with their owner to preform a specific job, emotional support dogs are there to provide comfort to the owner #ANS211

Cross breeding dogs is something that can be done between two breeds. These dogs could be bred for looks, performance, companion and many other reasons. #ANS211 https://t.co/Fl6nPb2phU

Dog breeding is something necessary to keep good genes in a breed and also so that a breed does not go extinct, but are some things being taken out of proportion? #ANS211 https://t.co/oqnzrLUKf1
