Wired but tired.
Anxious for no reason.
Craving sugar and snapping at people.
That’s not just a “rough week.”
That’s chronically high cortisol.
Let’s talk about what it looks like and how to lower it:
We need a strong lobbying organization in the world of ecommerce that lobbies for:
- Easier/less complicated sales tax collection among the states (this will result in less costs in terms of collecting);
- No credit card fees charged to merchants on actual taxes collected (why are we paying 3% fees on dollars we collect on behalf of a state)
- Limitations on nuisance lawsuits (ADA, SMS in Florida) (@bandholz is my hero here)
- Consistent and clear tariffs and shipping regulations;
- More accountability for credit card companies on chargebacks (can I buy a ferrari and do a chargeback saying product unaccetable? I would hope not)
The nation's largest independent ecommerce businesses should get together and do this.
We should get someone that came from eCommerce + understands the issues + has had an exit + has been out of the game to be our face for this so there is no question of integrity, conflict of interest, or financial interest like @MichaelDubin or @jakekassan.
Is this just a pipe dream or doable?
@BioavailableNd That’s a fake liposomal product. True liposomes are created with non hydrogenated and non gmo sunflower lecithin containing phospholipids and phosphatidylcholine.

Imagine this:
1. You get home from work at 5:10pm every day.
2. You do not check email after 4:59pm.
3. You do not worry about a single thing until 9:01 am the next morning.
4. Every single stressful problem simply gets passed on to someone else.
5. You’ve never had to fire somebody in your life.
6. If the company loses money because of something you did, your paycheck doesn’t change.
7. You know exactly how much money will hit your bank account every other Friday.
8. When you’re on vacation for a week, nobody can reach you and you do not bring your computer.
9. Your phone NEVER rings outside of business hours.
10. If you lose your job, you could make a few phone calls and likely have an offer for more $.
This is what 99% of jobs in the USA are like.
Being an employee is the correct path for almost all humans.
Not everybody has what it takes or even wants the life of an entrepreneur, which is the opposite of the above.
Entrepreneurs are underpaid for the stress they endure and the value they create for so many of their employees.
This might be really unpopular...but I'm just going to say it.
I wish Shopify had a "shitty customer" ranking.
This is beyond fraud.
Analyze all of its customer data and flag these grumpy humans when they buy from another brand.
Help us all avoid assholes and save our employees the trauma.
