This is SUCH excellent news everyone! Actual material progress on ensuring justice for Wang Wang with our continual pressure and shame campaign on brands whose goods are manufactured in Jieyang City:

"We just received a reply from Hugo Boss, an international company. The gist of it is that they have formally requested their supply chain suppliers in Jieyang City to comply with animal welfare regulations and to reassess whether the region's supply chain is still suitable for cooperation. In other words, they may abandon Jieyang City as their production base. So everyone's efforts have not been in vain; we will continue to speak out for Wang Wang"

A brand as big as Hugo Boss even issuing a statement that they are reconsidering abandoning Jieyang City, where those five boys tortured and murdered Wang Wang and her puppies (and other animals in their village of Pingpu 😭) is a TREMENDOUS response!

Contacting brands that have their products manufactured in Jieyang City, and alerting them to Wang Wang and our ultimatums of boycotting is WORKING!!

Like I said, money talks! Economic pressure is the best leverage. No brand in the West wants to be associated with a horrific animal torture case.

On June 28th, 5 minors violently stabbed 3 newborn puppies to death in front of their stray mother dog, Wang Wang. Then they dragged her with a wire, beat her with bats studded with nails, and doused her in gasoline + put a fire starter pad on her and burned her alive. They continued beating her even while she burned, and mocked her endlessly - “it smells so good” like you would describe food, and “why won’t this damn dog die.” During the hour long horrific torture, Wang Wang hid her head under a blanket, and even tried wagging her tail as a sign of pleading. She was terrified. Finally after her entire body was burnt and charred, she used her final strength to lick her dead puppies. Right before she died, they gouged out her eyes. ‘JUSTICE FOR WANGWANG’: Mother Dog Burned Alive and Puppies Stabbed to Death as Global Outcry Demands New Laws in China

Jeyang, Guangdong, China - A gentle mother dog known to villagers as Wangwang and her three newborn puppies have become the face of a global movement for justice after a horrific act of what you could call "coordinated cruelty." On June 28th, investigators say four minors surrounded the family, and what allegedly happened next is a story of unimaginable depravity.

THE HORROR:
Armed with wooden poles, the suspects reportedly beat and stabbed the three puppies - barely two weeks old - until they were dead. As Wangwang tried to protect her babies, investigators say the boys poured gasoline over her and set her on fire. She screamed as she burned alive, while the suspects allegedly took video so they could boast about it online.

THE SYSTEMIC FAILURE:
Because the suspects are under the age of 14, they have reportedly been sent to a correctional school with no criminal prosecution. This highlights a devastating reality: China currently has no national animal cruelty law. Despite years of public outcry, companion animals have no legal protection at the national level.

THE GLOBAL RESPONSE:
From Shenzhen to Hong Kong, the public is refusing to let this go. Anti-abuse messages are appearing on public screens, and the world is now watching to see if China will finally enact the legislation needed to protect the vulnerable.

CALL TO ACTION:
We cannot let Wangwang and her puppies be just another headline. We must demand that the Chinese government enact national animal cruelty legislation now.

A video has gone viral of a man’s cries after a doggy daycare in Santa Barbara (Camp Canine SB) allegedly allowed his 1 year old English Bulldog Bruce, to drown in their doggy pool.

According to the man’s screams, the owners of Camp Canine SB didn’t even call him to notify him his dog had indeed drowned.

He gets there after work, to pick Bruce up, and they hand him Bruce’s remains in a large black Rubbermaid container.

Camp Canine SB blamed a shift change and basically claim said staff didn’t even know he was missing.

Bruce was found in the bottom of their pool.

Apparently, he had been there for quite some time, since law enforcement said Bruce was already in Rigamortus.

They’ve since locked their social media down and to make matters even worse, Bruce belonged to a Veteran 😢
