It was an honour to share the stage with the Managing Trustee of the school & Founder of Roots Group, Thiru K Ramasamy avl; the Secretary of the school, Thiru Kavidasan avl; Tmt Vanitha Mohan avl, Managing Director, Siruthuli; Thiru Iakoka Subramanium avl, renowned industrialist of Coimbatore; and other eminent guests and respected staff.

Urged the students to become green warriors in planting trees exponentially to combat climate change and secure a sustainable future.

நம் மண், நம் நீர், நம் காற்று இவை அனைத்தும் நமது அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு நாம் பாதுகாத்து வழங்க வேண்டிய பொக்கிஷங்கள். நம் தலைமுறையையும், வருங்கால தலைமுறையையும் பாதுகாக்க வேண்டிய மிக முக்கிய பொறுப்பு நமக்கு இருக்கிறது.

சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பு குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை முன்னெடுத்துச் செல்லும் வகையில், வரும் ஆகஸ்ட் 16, 2026 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை அன்று மாலை 3.00 மணிக்கு, சென்னை எழும்பூர் ராஜரத்தினம் மைதானம் அருகில் நடைபெறும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் விழிப்புணர்வு பேரணியில், அனைவரும் பெருந்திரளாக பங்கேற்க வேண்டும் என்று அன்போடு கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.

மரங்களை வளர்ப்போம், நீர்நிலைகளைப் பாதுகாப்போம். நமது செயல்களால் ஒரு பசுமையான தமிழகத்தை உருவாக்குவோம். சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பை மக்கள் இயக்கமாக மாற்றுவோம்.

தமிழ் வழியில் கல்வி பயின்றவர்களுக்கு அரசுப் பணிகளில் 20% முன்னுரிமை வழங்கும் வகையில், கடந்த 2010 ஆம் ஆண்டு "தமிழ்நாடு தமிழ் வழியில் பயின்றவர்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமைச் சட்டம்" (PSTM Act) கொண்டு வரப்பட்டது. இதன் மூலம், தமிழ் வழியில் பயின்ற இளைஞர்களுக்கு, அரசுப் பணிகளில், 20% முன்னுரிமை வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

அரசு ஊழியர்களும், இந்தச் சட்டத்தின்படி,TNPSC மூலம் Group-I போன்ற உயர்பதவிகளுக்கு, இந்த முன்னுரிமையைப் பயன்படுத்த முடிகிறது. ஆனால்,TNUSRB மூலம் நடைபெறும் உதவி ஆய்வாளர் பணியிட நியமனங்களுக்கு, காவல்துறையில் ஏற்கனவே 5 ஆண்டுகள் கான்ஸ்டபிளாகப் பணிபுரிந்தவர்களுக்கு மட்டும் வழங்கப்படும் 20% துறை ஒதுக்கீட்டில், இந்த முன்னுரிமை வழங்கப்படுவதில்லை.

உதவி ஆய்வாளர் (SI) பதவிக்கான ஆட்சேர்ப்பு என்பது நேரடி நியமன���ாகவே நடைபெறுகிறது. ஐந்து ஆண்டுகள் பணிபுரிந்த காவலர்களுக்கு துறை ஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் 20% முன்னுரிமை வழங்கப்படுகிறது. ஆனால், அந்தத் துறை ஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் போட்டியிடும் தமிழ் வழியில் கல்வி பயின்ற காவலர்களுக்கு, PSTM சட்டத்தின்படிவழங்கப்பட வேண்டிய தமிழ் வழி முன்னுரிமை வழங்கப்படாதது ஒரு முரண்பாடாக உள்ளது.

கடந்த ஆண்டு, TNUSRB-ன் அறிவிப்பு எண் 01/2025-ன் கீழ் நடைபெற்ற 1352 உதவி ஆய்வாளர் பணியிடங்களுக்கான நேரடி ஆட்சேர்ப்பில், 20% துறை ஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் போட்டியிடும், 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேல் பணியாற்றும் காவலர்களுக்கு PSTM முன்னுரிமை வழங்கப்படவில்லை. காரணம், "ஏற்கனவே அரசு ஊழியர்கள்" என்பதே. ஆனால், PSTM சட்டத்தில், அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு இந்த முன்னுரிமை மறுக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்று எங்கும் கூறப்படவில்லை.

இந்தச் சட்ட முரண்பாட்டை நீக்க, கடந்த ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில், 23.01.2026 அன்று, தமிழக அரசு "Tamil Nadu Bill No.4 of 2026" என்ற திருத்த மசோதாவை சட்டமன்றத்தில் தாக்கல் செய்தது. அந்த மசோதாவில், தமிழ் வழியில் படித்த அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கும், உயர்ந்த ஊதியப் பதவிகளுக்கான நேரடி ஆட்சேர்ப்பில் PSTM முன்னுரிமை வழங்குவதே அரசின் நோக்கம் என்று தெளிவாக பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், இந்த முன்னுரிமையை ஒருமுறை பெ���்றவர்கள், அதைவிட உயர்ந்த ஊதியப் பதவிகளுக்கு அதனை மீண்டும் பயன்படுத்த முடியும் என்றும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

ஆனால், அந்த மசோதா இன்னும் சட்டமாகாத காரணத்தால், அறிவிப்பு எண் 01/2025-ன் கீழ் உதவி ஆய்வாளர் தேர்வில் பங்கேற்ற தமிழ் வழியில் கல்வி பயின்ற காவலர்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். அவர்கள் தாக்கல் செய்துள்ள W.P. No.11362/2026 (Vijay & Others) வழக்கு, சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் நிலுவையில் உள்ளது. இந்த வழக்கின் அடுத்த விசாரணை, 28.08.2026 அன்று நடைபெறவுள்ளது.

எனவே, தவெக அரசு, தமிழ்நாடு சட்ட முன்வடிவு எண் 4/2026 மீது உடனடியாக முடிவெடுத்து, தமிழ் வழியில் கல்வி பயின்று, தமிழகக் காவல்துறையில் உண்மையாகப் பணியாற்றும் காவலர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்க வேண்டிய நியாயமான உரிமை கிடைக்கும்படி, PSTM முன்னுரிமையை உறுதி செய்ய நடவடிக்கை எடுக��குமாறு கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம்.

இன்றைய தினம், ராமேஸ்வரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள, உலகம் போற்றும் விஞ்ஞானிகளில் ஒருவரும், மக்களின் பேரன்பைப் பெற்றிருந்த இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் குடியரசுத் தலைவருமான, பாரத ரத்னா டாக்டர் ஏ.பி.ஜே. அப்துல் கலாம் அவர்களின் நினைவிடத்தில், அவரது ��ுடும்பத்தினருடன் இணைந்து நினைவஞ்சலி செலுத்தும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்ததைப் பெரும் பாக்கியமாகக் கருதுகிறேன்.

"கனவு காணுங்கள்; அந்தக் கனவுகள் எண்ணங்களாக மாறட்டும், எண்ணங்கள் செயல்களாக மாறட்டும்" என்ற அவரது வாழ்வியல் தத்துவம், நமது இளைஞர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டும் ஒளிவிளக்காக உள்ளது. இந்தியாவின் அறிவியல் முன்னேற்றம், தன்னம்பிக்கை மற்றும் இளைஞர்களின் கனவுகளுக்காக அவர் விதைத்த விதைகள், நம் தலைமுறைகளைத் தொடர்ந்து வழிநடத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.

வளர்ந்த இந்தியா என்ற அவரது கனவை நனவாக்கும் பொறுப்பு நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் உள்ளது. டாக்டர் அப்துல் கலாம் அவர்களின் உயர்ந்த லட்சியங்களைப் பின்பற்றி, வலிமையான, தன்னிறைவு பெற்ற, உலகிற்கு வழிகாட்டும் இந்தியாவை உருவாக்க உறுதியேற்போம்.

கடந்த திமுக ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில், மருத்துவப் பணிகள் தேர்வு வாரியம் (MRB) சார்பாக, சுகாதார ஆய்வாளர் (நிலை-II) பணியிடங்களுக்கான அறிவிப்பு வெளியாகி, 15 நாட்களில் அவசர அவசரமாக தேர்வுகள் 07.12.2025 அன்று நடத்தப்பட்டன. இந்த கணினி வழித் தேர்வில், தேர்வு மை��ங்களில் விதிமீறல்கள், செல்போன் பயன்பாடு, கண்காணிப்பாளர்களின் ஒத்துழைப்புடன் நடைபெற்ற முறைகேடுகள், வினாத்தாள் கசிவு உள்ளிட்ட பல புகார்களை, தேர்வு எழுதிய மாணவர்கள் முன்வைத்திருந்தனர்.

இந்த முறைகேடுகள் குறித்து, கடந்த 24.02.2026 அன்று மாண்புமிகு சென்னை உய்நீதிமன்ற மதுரை கிளை, CBCID விசாரணைக்கு உத்தரவிட்டிருந்தும், இதுவரை விசாரணை முடியவில்லை. இந்த நிலையில், இந்த முறைகேடுகள் நடந்த நில��யிலேயே, தேர்ச்சி ப���ற்றவர்கள் என்ற பட்டியலை வைத்து, தமிழக அரசு பணி நியமன ஆணைகளை வழங்கியிருப்பது, முற்றிலும் தவறானது.

மாண்புமிகு சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் அறிவுறுத்தலின் பெயரில் பணி நியமன ஆணைகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன என்று தமிழக அரசு கூறலாம். ஆனால், இத்தனை முறைகேடுகள் நடந்துள்ளதன் காரணமாக, உண்மையாக கடினமாகப் படித்துத் தேர்வெழுதிய இளைஞர்கள், பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதை, உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில், தமிழக அரசு எட���த்துக் கூறியிருக்க வேண்டும். ஏற்கனவே CBCID விசாரணை நிலுவையில் இருப்பதையும் கூறியிருக்க வேண்டும். தேர்வில் முறைகேடுகள் நடைபெற்றுள்ள சூழலில், பணி நியமன ஆணை வழங்குவது, நேர்மையாகத் தேர்வு எழுதிய இளைஞர்களுக்குச் செய்யும் துரோகம் என்பதை தவெக அரசு உணர வேண்டும்.

பாதிக்கப்பட்ட இளைஞர்களின் கோரிக்கை மிகவும் நியாயமானது. அவர்களுக்கு நீதி கிடைக்க வேண்டுமெனில், அனைத்து தேர்வு மையங்களின் CCTV பதிவுகளையும் ஆய்வு செய்து, முறைகேடுகளில் ஈடுபட்ட குற்றவாளிகள் மீது கடும் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும். மேலும், 07.12.2025 அன்று நடைபெற்ற தேர்வை உடனடியாக ரத்து செய்து, கடுமையான கண்காணிப்புடன், முழுமையான வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையுடன் மறுதேர்வு நடத்த வேண்டும்.

அரசு வேலைவாய்ப்பில் தகுதியும், நேர்மையும் மட்டுமே முதன்மையானது. முறைகேடுகளுக்கு ஒருபோதும் இடமளிக்கக் கூடாது.

தமிழகம் முழுவதும், கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள், வழிபாட்டுத் தலங்கள், பேருந்து நிலையங்கள் அருகே உள்ள, டாஸ்மாக் மதுபானக் கடைகள் அனைத்தையும் மூட வலியுறுத்துவோம்.

சென்னை நகரின் சில பகுதிகளில் நாம் மேற்கொண்ட கள ஆய்வின்படி, பல டாஸ்மாக் மதுக்கடைகள், பள்ளிகள், வழிபாட்டுத்தலங்கள் மற்றும் பேருந்து நிலையங்களிலிருந்து 500 மீட்டர் தொலைவுக்குள்ளாகவே இயங்கி வருகின்றன.

தமிழகத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு மாவட்டத்திலும், இது போல, பள்ளிகள், வழிபாட்டுத்தலங்கள் மற்றும் பேருந்து நிலையங்களிலிருந்து 500 மீட்டர் தொலைவுக்குள்ளாக இயங்கும் டாஸ்மாக் கடைகள��� மூட, மக்கள் நேரடியாகவோ, அல்லது நமது We the Leaders அமைப்பின் மூலமாகவோ, மாவட்ட ஆட்சியாளரிடம் மனு கொடுப்போம். மது அரக்கனை ஒழிக்க ஒன்றிணைவோம். தமிழ்நாட்டைக் காப்போம்.

This comes as a shocker, as three previously affiliated colleges of The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University have received deemed university status, which will lead to a reduction of 650 medical seats in this admission year. This will directly impact the admission of students selected under the 7.5% reservation for government school students, and the fee expected to be paid by students admitted to these colleges will be quadrupled, at the least.

The three colleges that have now been granted Deemed University status are St. Peter’s Medical College (250 seats) and Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Medical Sciences & Srinivasan Medical College (400 seats). As for who owns and controls these institutions, that is hardly a secret; it is already in the public domain.

The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University has clarified that it has not issued an NOC to either of these colleges to apply for deemed university status. However, it is also clarified that the refusal letter issued to St. Peter’s Medical College is currently being contested in court.

The UGC (Institutions Deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2022, in point number 5.02(i) and 5.02 (ii) clearly state that the University Grants Commission will presume that the State Government has no objection to the issuance of deemed university status if the affiliating university (in this case The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University) does not object within a window of 60 days and it will presume that the university had no objection for issuance of deemed university status.

The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University has clarified that they did not issue a NOC to Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Medical Sciences and Srinivasan Medical College.

Hence, a pertinent question arises. Did the previous DMK Govt deliberately ignore the application filed by Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Medical Sciences and Srinivasan Medical College and wait for the 60-day window to close?

I urge the TVK Govt to conduct a detailed probe into this matter and ensure that those responsible for this gross wilful negligence be punished. The future of aspiring medical students cannot be made collateral damage by administrative apathy or wilful political negligence. Their dreams of pursuing affordable medical education must not be stalled or sacrificed because those in power fail to act in time.

தமிழ���நாடு டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மருத்துவப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்துடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த மூன்று மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிகள், தற்போது "நிகர்நிலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகம்" (Deemed University) அந்தஸ்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளதால், இந்தக் கல்வியாண்டிலேயே 650 மருத்துவக் கல்வி இடங்கள் மாநில ஒதுக்கீட்டிலிருந்து விலகியிருப்பது, மிகவும் அதிர்ச்சி அளிக்கும் செய்தி ஆகும். இதனால், 7.5% உள் ஒதுக்கீட்டின் கீழ் மருத்துவக் கல்விக் கனவோடு இருக��கும் அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களே முதலில் பாதிக்கப்படுவார்கள். மேலும், இந்தக் கல்லூரிகளில் சேரும் மாணவர்கள் செலுத்த வேண்டிய கல்விக் கட்டணம், குறைந்தபட்சம் நான்கு மடங்கு உயரக்கூடும்.

நிகர்நிலைப் பல்கலைக்கழக அந்தஸ்து பெற்றுள்ள கல்லூரிகளான, செயின்ட் பீட்டர்ஸ் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி (250 இடங்கள்) மற்றும் தனலட்சுமி சீனிவாசன் மருத்துவ அறிவியல் நிறுவனம் & சீனிவாசன் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி (400 இடங்கள்) ஆகிய கல்வி நிறுவனங்களை யார் நடத்துகிறார்கள் என்பது அனைவரும் அறிந்த ரகசியம்.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மருத்துவப் பல்கலைக்கழகம், இந்த மூன்று கல்லூரிகளுக்கும் நிகர்நிலைப் பல்கலைக்கழக அந்தஸ்து பெறுவதற்காக எந்தவிதமான தடையில்லாச் சான்றிதழையும் (NOC) வழங்கவில்லை என்று தெளிவுபடுத்தியுள்ளது. மேலும், செயின்ட் பீட்டர்ஸ் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிக்கு வழங்க��்பட்ட மறுப்புக் கடிதம் குறித்தான வழக்கு தற்போது நீதிமன்றத்தில் நிலுவையில் உள்ளது.

ஆனால், பல்கலைக்கழக மானியக் குழு, UGC (Institutions Deemed to be Universities) Regulations, 2022-இன் 5.02(i) மற்றும் 5.02(ii) விதிகளின்படி, இணைப்புப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் 60 நாட்களுக்குள் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிக்காவிட்டால், மாநில அரசுக்கும் இணைப்புப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்திற்கும் எந்த ஆட்சேபனையும் இல்லை என்று பல்கலைக்கழக மானியக் குழு கருதி, நிகர்நிலைப் பல்கலைக்கழக அந்தஸ்தை வழங்க முடியும்.

இந்நிலையில், தனலட்சுமி சீனிவாசன் மருத்துவ அறிவியல் நிறுவனம் மற்றும் சீனிவாசன் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி இரண்டுக்கும், தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மருத்துவப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் தடையில்லாச் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கவில்லை என்று கூறியுள்ளது.

எனவே, தனலட்சுமி சீனிவாசன் மருத்துவ அறிவியல் நிறுவனம் மற்றும் சீனிவாசன் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியின் விண்ணப்பத்தை முந்தைய திமுக அரசு, 60 நாள் காலக்கெடு முடியும் வரை திட்டமிட்டு கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் இருந்ததா என்ற முக்கியமான கேள்வி எழுகிறது.

இந்த விவகாரம் குறித்து தற்போதைய தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழக அரசு முழுமையான விசாரணை நடத்தி, வேண்டுமென்றே நடவடிக்கை எடுக்காமல் கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் இருந்தவர்கள் யார் என்பதை கண்டறிந்து உரிய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும். மருத்துவக் கல்வியை குறைந்த கட்டணத்தில் பெற வேண்டும் என்ற ஆயிரக்கணக்��ான மாணவர்களின் கனவை, எதிர்காலத்தை, நிர்வாக அலட்சியம் மற்றும் யாருடைய சுயநலத்துக்கும் பலிகடாவாக்க அனுமதிக்கக் கூடாது என்று வலியுறுத்துகிறேன்.

The news that the death toll in the Ammonia gas tragedy in a pvt company in Thiruvallur has increased to 17 is deeply disturbing. All the deceased are women and were migrant guest workers from North India.

The TN government has given Compensation of Rs. 2 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased. How is this sufficient & justified? Odisha government has given Rs. 10 Lakh as compensation to the victim. The Odisha government also facilitated the return of those migrant guest workers who were discharged after the treatment. While the State Govt arranged safe passage of the deceased, how did the State administration forget the plight of those who were discharged from hospitals, waiting to return home?

The tragic loss of lives in the Ammonia gas tragedy in the private export firm in Thiruvallur also raises a lot of questions;

1)The first & foremost being the absence of the implementation of the 1979 Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act. Principal employers of establishments that employ five or more inter-state migrant workers must be registered under the Act. However, this accident and many earlier incidents have only shown that this Act is not implemented in Tamil Nadu and that no registry is being maintained.

Whenever a crime happens that involves a migrant guest worker from North India, a bunch of innocent migrant guest workers from North India are rounded up for enquiry, as there are no ways and means for the Police Department to narrow it down due to lack of registry.

However, after we pointed it out recently, we understand that the TVK Govt has begun enforcing this Act, at least in parts, if not in full. We trust that the State Govt takes the recent accidents/incidents seriously and enforces the availability of the register of migrant guest workers across all districts. TN State Govt could draw inspiration from the Athidhi app developed by Kerala for registering migrant guest workers and to ensure their welfare.

Even in the Thiruvallur ammonia gas tragedy, it was learnt that there was difficulty in establishing the actual identity of one of the deceased women, who carried a forged Aadhaar card to secure employment. This shows the inefficiency of the functioning of the inter-state migrant workers portal launched by TN Govt in 2023.

2)The welfare board for migrant guest workers is basically non-existent and needs to be established, strengthened and should be used to address the concerns of the migrant guest workers.

Tamil Nadu has today fallen below the replacement level, with a fertility rate of 1.3. To build the State’s infrastructure and work in industrial & commercial establishments across the State, we depend on the hard work of our migrant guest workers. Hence, it is important that we focus on their state of living, as most of the migrant guest workers are compelled to live in appalling conditions and have no place to complain, and their voices are never heard.

3)It is not just the duty of the welfare board but also the duty of the Department of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH) of the state government of Tamil Nadu. Even after a catastrophe that led to the death of 17 workers due to an ammonia gas leak, there seems to be no accountability taken by this department. It is time for “Transparency”. DISH should have made public their most recent inspection of this factory and any observations they made.

The factory in which these migrant guest workers suffered had accommodations within the place of work, surrounded by hazardous pipelines. How was this even allowed?

I demand that appropriate compensation be disbursed to the victims, that the 1979 Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act be enforced in both letter & spirit, and that transparency be brought by the Ministry of Labour of the TN State Govt on the functioning of the DISH & they also be made accountable, including the owners of the establishment, for deliberately ignoring the hazardous living conditions of the migrant guest workers.

தவெக அரசு தனது தேர்தல் வாக்குறுதிகளில், 5 ஏக்கர் வரை நிலம் வைத்திருக்கும் விவசாயிகளின் கூட்டுறவுப் பயிர்க் கடனை முழுமையாக தள்ளுபடி செய்வோம் என்று கூறி ஆட்சிக்கு வந்த நிலையில், தற்போது ₹75,000 வரையிலான கடன் தொகை மட்டுமே முழுமையாக தள்ளுபடி செய்யவோம் என்று அறிவித்துள்ளது. இதனால், அதிர்ச்சியடைந்துள்ள விவசாயிகள், சேலம் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியாளர் அலுவலகம் முன்பாக, தங்களைச் சாட்டையால் அடித்துக் கொண்டு போராட்டம் நடத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள்.

கடந்த 1970 ஆம் ஆண்டு, இதே நாளில்தான், விவசாயத்துக்கு வழங்கப்படும் மின்சாரக் கட்டண உயர்வை எதிர்த்துப் போராடிய விவசாயிகள் மீது துப்பாக்கிச் சூடு நடந்து, மூன்று விவசாயிகள் கொல்லப்பட்டனர். 56 ஆண்டுகள் கடந்தும், அதே நாளில், மீண்டும் விவசாய��கள் தங்கள் கோரிக்கைகளுக்காக தங்களையே வருத்திக் கொள்ளும் நிலையில் இருப்பது வருத்தமளிக்கிறது.

கொடுத்த வாக்குறுதியை முழுமையாக நிறைவேற்றுவதே அரசின் கடமை. இது போன்று கடந்த ஆட்சியில் வாக்குறுதிகளை நிறைவேற்றாமல் மக்களை ஏமாற்றியதாலேயே, மக்கள் மாற்றம் வேண்டி தவெக அரசைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தனர். ஆனால், பெயரில் மட்டுமே மாற்றம் இருப்பது துரதிருஷ்டவசமானது.

உடனடியாக, தவெக அரசு, தங்கள் தேர���தல் வாக்குறுதியின்படி, 5 ஏக்கர் வரை நிலம் வைத்திருக்கும் விவசாயிகளின் பயிர்க்கடனை முழுமையாகத் தள்ளுபடி செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றும், விவசாயிகளை மேலும் வருத்த வேண்டாம் என்றும் வலியுறுத்துகிறேன்.
