17:15 Waverley to Tweedbank - peak service - 2 Carriages!! Mayhem. Crammed to door 10 mins before departure. Dozens left on platform 3 to wait an hour for next train. How can @ScotRail drivers do this to the Scottish travelling public?
@Hertz@easyJet Reply from @Hertz. I have to further contact a USA phone number or email claims management who “may” be able to assist. Sallie’s message is meaningless virtue signalling. @Hertz have all the info they need but will not assist.
Is it reasonable for @Hertz to remove £400 from my credit card for this which they claim I caused during a recent rental from Geneva airport? Will they really replace the trim or is this punishment for accepting @easyJet insurance? No more @Hertz for me.

After a calamitous experience with @British_Airways last June (still not resolved), I stupidly give them a try again. I get home to Edinburgh today and my luggage is in Dallas. (I wasn't even in Dallas). Go figure.
@ncybulskaozlav @Flight_Refunds@sarahkorich@British_Airways When I was stranded in the USA last June after a flight cancellation they charged me £600 to get home and refused to refund it.
@SimonCalder In my case absolutely none of this happened and @British_Airways continue to resist my attempts to ask for a refund and compensation. I am £1200 out of pocket, having been charged an additional £600 for a return flight while stranded in the USA because of cancellations.
@BritishAWs @British_Airways@Flight_Refunds I am done trying to phone and getting cut off. No more. I tried DM - no response. Why can I not speak to a real person who will listen? I am £1200 out of pocket because of BA cancellations. That is serious negligence and nobody's listening.
Having been held up in the USA for two days because of BA cancellations, and charged by BA an additional £600 to get home, @British_Airways have now told me that they are "unable to contribute" to my expenses claim, let alone compensation. Lost for words. @Flight_Refunds
@SimonCalder@British_Airways@Flight_Refunds Thanks Simon. However, @British_Airways are insistent that while they admit fault they "cannot contribute" to my expenses claim which includes the £600 extra they charged me to get home. I've emailed Sean Doyle but nobody's listening. Not sure what to do now.
@iver_martin@British_Airways@Flight_Refunds Sounds odd: an airline that cancels a flight must provide a hotel and meals until it or another carrier can get you to your destination.
Passengers should never be out of pocket.
If the cancellation is the airline's fault it must pay £220-£520 compensation

@helloitsgracev@Flight_Refunds@British_Airways Be careful. When I tried to rebook I ended up cancelling the whole booking and when I eventuality got through they charged me an additional £600 to get home.
@British_Airways replied to my tweets. They say they’re concerned. They tell me to DM so I do. They say an assistant will help me asap. 10 hours later no assistant. They are not concerned.
@British_Airways Chris. When I tried to DM I got the same automated reply I get every time: that you are busy and that it might take a long time for BA to reply. No more. Can you DM me please. I am now £1300 out of pocket, not to mention time wasted.
@British_Airways I'm in Birmingham, Al, and I've just come off an hour long phone call to British Airways. They are charging me an additional $717 to get home, after cancelling two flights and delaying me for two days. Figure that out!
