@mitchellh Fully agree. I’ve been having the same issue with Codex many times… had to use the agent to find the workaround for the filter by itself, which is simply ridiculous.
If we can’t write secure code, what are we doing?! @OpenAI
@dhh@hnshah I have had the same positive outcome giving it access to my recycled cisco switch.
It handled the SonosNet nightmare for me…
@Sonos if you read this, a disable SonosNet option would be really welcome. I can only recommend people to avoid Sonos at this point.
@predict_addict Ok I’ll bite: what French degree are we talking about? From which school? Anyone who understands the French system also understand you can get a maths degree of no value at a random school or one of high value in a select school, very much like anywhere else in the world.
@yousifa@mitchellh@holman@astuyve It’s actually really good advice for long runs.
Even cat6 can start having interferences at higher speed over 150+ ft in my experience.
If you remodel, I would just put a couple fibers from one end of the house to the other. Or just a conduit “just in case”.
@dhh Home automation done right is amazing. For me that’s home automation you don’t see and don’t need to know about because all simply works the way you expect. Switches still do what you’d expect. No cloud or internet connection needed.
Yet, you can have scenes when needed.
@mitchellh@kentcdodds It’s not only about this specific operation. If you take the slowest path for all operations you need to perform (even in parallel), you’re either accepting slower responses or higher hosting cost at scale.
@Porkchop_EXP@dhh As a french person living in 🇺🇸 I can only agree. But don’t paint a too idealistic picture of France either, I typically have to go through multiple bakeries to find a proper croissant…
AI crawlers like Perplexity scrape the web, ignoring rules. Creators pay to host, while others harvest the value.
Web3 flips the script: users pay creators directly.
