@EMAWCaleb I’m excited Utah is in the big 12. Keep some regional rivalries and same conference as the BYU. Lots of other passionate football fanbases. I’m biased though grew up a cat fan before grad school in Utah 🤷♂️
@olsonplanner Crazy how little we value long term preventative medicine as a country all the way down to how we compensate our physicians in primary care. Not saying others deserve less.
@DrCasteelEM There are parts of the rural west that don’t even have a single physician in the county. Something like 95% of senior medical students have no interest in practicing rural medicine. Rural patients deserve to have well trained and Drs that’s why I am in medicine.
@ParkerFoxtrot @worsematt Lots of top 5-10 % of income earners kids go there but most are from out of state and Milwaukee depends on your social circles. I interacted with a ton in Greek life.
@AleRigolon Good bike infrastructure has been there a decade or more. Less biking probably due to winter weather like Utah. Parking cannot change much there due to being downtown and on an isthmus. No space to expand. Traxs is a big difference though.
@AleRigolon Honestly crazy to me that 55% of people drive to UW-Madison and only 50% to the U. Few of the students are even allowed to park on campus there. However, bike infrastructure is light years ahead of SLC. Protected bike lanes and dedicated bike paths throughout the city.
@LifeofFitz You can’t “healthy” thought and action your way out of cancer and you having cancer isn’t because of a failure to do so. If there are things that help you stay engaged and motivated in the fight then great do them. Just talk to your oncologist first.
@NathanStGoddard@CountryGirlAt12 I kid you not I met a guy in Bozeman who tried to hand feed one and the fox just bit him. I guess it didn’t like lucky charms 😂
@ryanpcooney I don’t think people realize how common it is to get charged by grizzlies while hunting in Montana. The guy wasn’t prepared and didn’t use bear spray, so he should be fined. I’ve had numerous friends charged and stopped the bear with spray but that’s not a news story.
@Evan_Flood Tbh admin just needs to ask for student feedback and implement the findings. I think a mixed approach of GA and assigned seating. GA for the close seats and assigned for those that want to sit by friends and don’t want to be crammed in.
@olsonplanner I think the issue is more so keeping physicians in rural communities after debt is paid off. There is great loan repayment programs (300K+)for rural primary care depending on the location. More students from rural areas = more rural docs (hopefully)
