@iamOzawaKenji Agree & my hypothesis: In Japan, it’s socially accepted to have T&H, so the words exist. In other cultures, people don’t mention it publicly, because that’s the whole point of “tatemae”. i.e., tb discrete about real feelings & instead express something socially acceptable.
