I want everyone to know that I was about to tweet a very sectarian statement and deleted it out of respect for the brief moment of left wing unity we’re all trying to experience.
Join the Socialist Party for a workers’ answer to Reform’s right-populism.
Labour has no answers to the concerns raised by the working class about their plight—exploited by right-wing charlatans.
Only socialism can deliver jobs and homes for workers, capitalism has failed.
Liverpool Socialist Students sends its solidarity to Michael Lenin and others awaiting trial in Nigeria, potentially facing the death penalty, for opposing the depravity of capitalist governance.
The ideas of socialism can not be silenced - join the fight back✊

SAT 1st FEB: Sheffield TUC is holding a meeting to discuss the Sheffield City Council budget for 2025 and a campaign to demand no further cuts to local authority services and the restoration of services lost in recent years. All welcome!
@ExtraSmallRobin There is a fundamental joy in organising, but not isn't fundamental to organising. Organising is a necessity, not a fun hobby. If you're only organising for fun, you're not a revolutionary, you're a larper
Fascinating that backlashes from the rich and powerful get results from the supposed party of the oppressed and yet screams of agony from struggling poorer people, from disabled people, from older people are utterly ignored and, in effect, dismissed.
@SocialistAntho Yeah absolutely agree, and it really reminds me that a lot of regular people do agree with a class based position - you’ve just got to go out there and talk to people and argue those ideas.
One of the scariest things you can do as a socialist is run a stall. Sounds rudimentary but being out in public with a big sign essentially saying I AM A SOCIALIST and being ready to engage with a cross section of people with your ideas can be really spooky but also essential.
you have to come out as communist/socialist/anarchist. liberals are natural born collaborators so it is up to us to build mass antifascist solidarity. visibility is an unavoidable requirement; if fascists can sieg heil from a presidential podium you can be out about your politics
@uzzi____ Thank you! And I agree - I try to ignore people who just sling around insults and bad faith arguments. It’s much more important to find people who actually want to build a better future ✊🏻☺️

When the time comes people need to remember that when their local services were being cut, or their jobs were at risk, or they were about to be evicted, it was socialists who ran campaigns and fought to protect them. And they did so proudly under the banner of socialism.
You know when people tell you things like nationalisation just aren’t possible? Things can actually change overnight, they’re just not being changed in the favour of the working class.
If we fight for socialism, we could actually do a lot of good very very quickly.
