@mattjay It probably works on stackoverflow and other public spaces (like forum) that do not associate the uploaded file to precise message/post/item as well.
A lot of modern text editors let you just upload data with drag and drop.
@maxandersen Java 11 will be remembered as the less adopted Java version (I am not counting non-LTS releases)
It is hard to have precise data, but my observation is that a lot of projects jumped from 8 to 17.
@maxandersen@adoptium@jbangdev@Oracle If this is the version we will use during the 10 next years, couple of days will not really matter.
A lot of projects are stuck with older LTS anyway.
Running the helloworld docker image from a @jbangdev script using @testcontainers 🎉
Before using a complex setup inside a test suite, I like to try simple stuff (shorter feedback loop).
🎯 Testcontainers can be used in a simple java main(..) method.

Old:
"I read it on Twitter"
New:
"I read it on 𝕏"
I do not have an opinion on the rebranding, but having a Unicode char already for the new name is brillant.
Using the ascii X, makes it hard to understand:
"I read it on X"
More explicit?:
"I read it on X (formerly Twitter)"
A refaire !
Merci pour vos épisodes.
@variableirony@gitlab Indeed, GitLab works really as an open source project.
Some parts are bad (open issues since years for obvious stuff), but being able to contribute without any prerequisites or network is really valuable.
Also my merge request was reviewed quickly (very healthy as well).
The patch I wrote for @gitlab is already deployed on https://t.co/sEYLBakufl 🎉(it will be included in the 16.3 release ✅)
I can't wait to have this deployed at our company, because this was a very annoying bug…

I think I fixed something in #GitLab…🤔
🤞to get my MR approved and merged https://t.co/8Gxch6cvC7
Very good dev experience offered by GDK and @gitpod
Nothing to install locally 👍
I could start the app from the cloud IDE and test my fix ✅
@k33g_org I tried ChatGPT to write code. I am not convinced:
* It suggests something
* I read it, try to understand if it will work or not. Or I give it a try
* I give him an additional hint or I copy paste the error message
* ChatGPT apologies and you are back to Step 1
👿 endless loop
@k33g_org@Tr4LSecurity@gitlab Mais avec des limitations:
* Il te faut un projet "dummy" pour que le groupe soit visible par tout le monde
* Les invitations des ces groupes de users doivent être faits dans chaque repo pour que toutes les features marchent (codeowners, protected branch)
