@carrielbjohnson@LauraTrottMP Well done Carrie, and pass on thanks to your fellow warriors for their astonishing bravery and resilience. You have all done something really important in the fight for the safety of women and girls ๐๐
@davidnicholson2@SeneddWaste I've heard It's Ross England, y'know, the failed Tory that who a judge threw out of court for sabotaging a rape trial. His mate got sentenced anyway, and RE was deslected. Might explain the bitterness and disrespect for Wales.
@thenorth4theeu@nazirafzal@BionicBirdAnna ๐ฏ we need some changes, lying in campaigning illegal (that's coming in Wales) and financial penalties for supporting the election of unsuitable candidates. Party to pay for subsequent by-elections + a fine on an increasing scale.
@thebarryhorns It was me! No not really (I wish!) But I was stood next to the barking dog. In hindsight, it might have been my singing that set him off.
@LloydCymru I think the electoral elephant was the failure of Labour to stand up for Women's Rights and respond to the Supreme Court ruling on sex based Rights. So many women couldn't bring themselves to vote Labour, but also wanted to stop Reform. Same will happen in GE
@sos_dawson@stuey_beef Oh ok, looks like I have a lot of received disinformation! What about the Port Talbot steel workers? I thought their pension fund debt was excluded from the TaTa deal as they wouldn't take on that debt/risk
@sos_dawson@stuey_beef Yes - was it because Thatcher allowed companies to raid their pension scheme, and they're all in deficit now (Maxwell etc.) Then the state pension would eed to support more than expected....or something like that?
