This poster commemorates 15 innocent Kuki civilians who lost their lives between March and June 2026. The victims included pastors, church leaders, farmers, village elders, and even an unborn child. According to the poster, these individuals were not combatants or members of any armed group; they were ordinary civilians whose lives were tragically cut short by violence.
The poster serves as a call for justice and accountability while honoring the memory of those who were killed. It highlights the pain and suffering endured by their families and communities and emphasizes that attacks on innocent civilians can never be justified under any circumstance. The message urges authorities, human rights organizations, and the international community to recognize the plight of the victims and ensure that justice is delivered.
Lastly, NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, Myanmar Meitei Militants, Shan National Army, and Myanmar Junta Military are crossing the Burma (Myanmar)-India border and entering the hills of Manipur, where Kuki ancestral villages are being burned and innocent Kuki civilians are being killed.
We strongly condemn the Central Forces for failing to prevent the infiltration of NSCN Eastern Flank, NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, Myanmar Meitei Militants, Shan National Army, and Myanmar Junta Military into Indian territory. While Tangkhul women and Meitei Meira Paibis continue to block the movement of Central Forces in their dominant areas, it creates opportunities for these armed groups to move through the border regions. We believe that the Government of India and security agencies must take immediate and effective measures to secure the international border, protect innocent civilians, and prevent further violence in the hill regions of Manipur.

#Manipur
Yes, Tangkhuls are not Naga. They are Manipuri, as S.C. Jamir, former Chief Minister of Nagaland also mentioned the same.
Tangkhuls and Meiteis have many similarities because they are blood brothers. One of the similarities is that they both have a nature of lying.

Lies can't hide. Fake narratives fall. Truth stands tall.
No propaganda Is strong enough to bury the truth. You can spin it, twist it, fake it, but truth will win it.
Your lies end where truth begins.
False propaganda has expiry date, but Truth doesn't. You can fabricate a thousand stories, but one truth will shatters them all.
The Kacha Nagas and the Meiteis together can continue to bury us in lies. But, we will rise in truth. Kuki-Zo will triumph.

REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF INNOCENT KUKI CIVILIANS
We, on behalf of the Kuki Community, urgently appeal to the Government of India, Central Forces, High Authorities, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to immediately intervene and ensure the safe release of innocent Kuki civilians who are reportedly being held hostage in Senapati district.
Among those detained are students and daily wage earners who work tirelessly to support their families. These innocent civilians were allegedly taken by groups associated with the United Naga Council (UNC), Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA), NPO, and JTM. Till today, their families continue to suffer in fear, uncertainty, and emotional pain without any clear information regarding their condition or whereabouts.
The continued detention of innocent civilians is a grave violation of human rights and a serious threat to peace and communal harmony in the hill areas of Manipur. We strongly urge the authorities concerned to take immediate action and conduct proper investigation and search operations to secure their safe and unconditional release without any physical harm or injury.
We further appeal to the Central Forces, security agencies, and NIA not to remain silent while innocent civilians are suffering. Justice, humanity, and the rule of law must prevail over fear, intimidation, and unlawful detention.
The Kuki Community has repeatedly exercised restraint and continued to stand for peace, coexistence, and communal harmony despite immense suffering and provocation. Therefore, we call upon all responsible authorities to act swiftly before the situation deteriorates further.
Release our innocent Kuki civilians immediately and ensure their safe return to their families.
On behalf of the Kuki Community

KOHUR accuses UNC of ‘moral evasion’, demands release of 14 Kuki‑Zo civilians
KOHUR has accused the UNC of deflecting attention from the May 13 ambush that killed three Kuki-Zo clergymen and of ignoring the reported detention of 14 civilians. It has sought an NIA probe and the immediate release of the detained civilians as well as the six missing Naga men.https://t.co/WAggHRtc8P
Mass Public Rally at Churachandpur District, opposing the Kuki MLAs who participated in the formation of Popular Government in #Manipur.
Effigies of the #ministers burnt by protestors.
In deep shock to hear about the incident in Tronglaobi, Bishnupur District. My prayers to those affected.
Let us also ensure that no fingers are pointed towards one another until perpetrators are verified.
The KukiCommunity strongly condemns the recent ultimatum issued by Khanuithot-Khon (Voice of the Naga Youth), a CSO from the Manipuri Tangkhul community, ordering the eviction of the KukiCommunity from Shangkai Kuki Village. Such a statement is deeply irresponsible and dangerous, and it clearly shows how certain groups are contributing to the continuation of tensions and conflict in the region.
Issuing an ultimatum to evict an entire community from their own land is unacceptable and goes against the principles of peaceful coexistence and justice. The KukiCommunity has been living on these ancestral lands for generations, where our forefathers settled and built their lives. No organization or community has the authority to threaten or forcefully remove people from their homes.
It is unfortunate to recall that during the tragic violence of 1993, many Kuki villages in the Ukhrul region were wiped out under the atrocities carried out by NSCN-IM. During those dark times, innocent Kuki men, women, and even children were mercilessly killed, and many villages were lost. The peace-loving KukiCommunity, who had very limited means to defend themselves, suffered immense loss while extremist ambitions attempted to reshape the region.
The current ultimatum against Shangkai Kuki Village appears to repeat the same pattern of intimidation and threats against vulnerable Kuki settlements. Such actions will only deepen mistrust and further destabilize the region.
The KukiCommunity will not accept any attempt to evict us from our ancestral land.
We consider this press release a serious challenge to the dignity, safety, and rights of our people. If any attempt is made to implement such threats, the KukiCommunity reserves the right to defend our land, our homes, and our people through lawful means.
We strongly urge the Government, security forces, and all concerned authorities to immediately intervene and address this issue before it escalates further. Allowing such threats to go unchecked will only encourage more hostility and endanger innocent civilians.
The KukiCommunity seeks peace and justice, but we will not remain silent spectators if our land, rights, and existence are threatened.

The most affected in the ethnic cleansing in ‘Manipur’ were the tribal Kuki Zo people and this is how even the state under President’s rule deliver solace.@HMOIndia @the_hindu
I just realised that in #Manipur, the term #ReliefCamp has been "normalised" now in 1000 days of this continuous mayhem with no end in sight. That's basically and LITERALLY being #refugees in YOUR OWN COUNTRY in India that is Bharat !
How is this even ALLOWED !?!?!?!?
#Manipur continuously burning for almost 1000 days now but Govt. is busy with #GST, while the opposition protests about #SIR, even though it's about MANIPUR. The amount of no Fs given to a State that's been seen NO NORMALCY for almost 1000 days continuously is just too damm high.
Lamka, Manipur: Every Kuki-Zo IDP has a story — of survival, resilience & betrayal by the state that vowed to protect them. @HMOIndia@PMOIndia @RajBhavManipur @manipurmygov#KukiIDPs
Biren called kuki community narco & raged war against them.Ironically, you are the https://t.co/6ZZBhQUlyL wil never be forgiven for the lives lost & loss of property.
Separate Admin/UT is the only solution.Meitei & Kuki can nvr stay together again.

The case of most Kuki-Zo youths arrested by state police and central security forces are immediately transferred to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). However, when hundreds of Meitei youths linked to banned Meitei terrorist groups are arrested, no NIA case is filed against them. This discrepancy highlights the government's bias.
@RajBhavManipur @AmitShah@narendramodi
We welcome @narendramodi as the 1st Indian PM ever to visit our Kuki region. It comes on Sep 13, our Black Day, when we remember thousands massacred by Muivah. Even now, under Biren’s regime, our people face ongoing genocide. We hope his visit will confront these harsh truths.
