@MALLEN4213@POTUS In a non-union project pipe fitter/plumber needs to put in a nailer to tie in a pipe. He picks up a hammer cut a piece of scrap lumber and completes the job. In union project the plumber stops working because he has to wait for a union carpenter to come by to install the nailer.
Heard of PUF? Public User Fee. A 1% "tax" on sales, is being charged by developers who may be already getting tax breaks, are expecting to make millions, if not billions on their development, yet are adding 1% to every sale without telling anyone, to further enrich themselves.
@WallStreetSilv This illustrates this person's thought process. They tried to buy drinks for fellow laid off co-workers but didn't want to actually pay for them with their own money. Wanted former employer to buy the drinks but take credit for it.
@anniewise67@TomFitton Are you obtuse? If previous generations could count ALL the votes by hand (no computers), and ALL the votes were cast on Election day, and ALL the votes were counted soon after the polls closed, the problem has NOTHING to do with laws that vote count starts after polls close.
@anniewise67@TomFitton Further, the complexities and decentralization you reference are the means of election security. It allows both parties and independent observers to follow the vote count procedure. By 1988 problems with computerized elections had already been observed.

@anniewise67@TomFitton We've been voting since 1789. Computers weren't used until 1964, by 5 counties. Even by 1988 only 55% of vote was computer counted, which means all those elections had hand counted votes. Since the advent of radio results have been announced election night or by next morning.
@ThomasSowell Biden just announced in a speech he was going to be shutting down coal fired power plants all across the nation. Since coal plants currently provide 22% of US electricity how is that going to work out? Another disastrous idea by LibProg Democrats, living with 22%less electricity.
@anniewise67@TomFitton Study history! Ballots have been cast and counted, BY HAND, on election day, with results in by next day at the latest since early in the 20th century so don't try to claim it can't be done now using computers. Do you think the counting of ballots was invented in 2020?
@greggaphillips @MathesonBarb @TomFitton True, but they have to get away with it. Which they also do and have done regularly. It's easier when there's more time to change the vote count however. They need to know how many votes they need to "find".
@anniewise67@TomFitton We're supposed to trust that early results aren't going to be leaked, thereby influencing voters haven't voted yet?
Early returns on the East coast were proven to to affect West coast voters. People would not even bother to vote after hearing early returns on election day.
@KeithInKeyWest @TomFitton A simple study of history would inform one that in previous decades virtually ALL ballots were cast on election day. Votes were counted by hand and miraculously, results announced same day or next day in most districts. Now with computers, scanners etc., it takes longer?
@Cernovich So 50/60 years ago, admittedly less voters, but with no modern technology, i.e., computers helping, votes could be counted, outcomes determined by the next day at latest, but now with computers it can no longer be done. I'm calling Bull$hit on that piece of propaganda.
@CNN Good ole Joe finally admitting that Twitter has always been a vehicle for propaganda. Now he's mad that PC censoring LibProgs don't control it anymore. Musk hasn't had time to change Twitter much. Joe's sure he will though and so starts the bad-mouthing. Never a complaint before.
@AlexEpstein Simple fact, Hurricanes are being reported as more devastating because increased development along coastal areas makes it rare that a hurricane now makes landfall on uninhabited coastline. The same destruction in the 60s would have had a dollar tag 10% of what it is today.
If there's one thing that should be obvious it's that if you let tyrants get control, they are exceedingly difficult to get rid of. Soviet Union 70 yrs, Nazis WWII which killed 60 million. Tyrants are about control, people, information, thought. They disarm the People to do it.
@proudelephant No! Doing that changes nothing. Still censorship.
Let him babble and refute his misinformation with facts. Show everyone what the LibProg Democrats are really like. Why do you think they favor censorship? Their ideas can't stand up to logical analysis.
@marklevinshow Want to know why energy prices are so high. Pull up a graph of domestic oil production and you'll see that it dropped 30%, 13k to 9.7k/day, starting immediately after Biden/Democrats took office results of their policies, stop Keystone, cut oil leases, stop new drilling, etc.
