Not enough people are talking about this.
A Florida airport was renamed after Donald Trump. He walked away with the trademark, the licensing rights, and a deal that lets him profit off every piece of merchandise sold there.
But the story of how he got it is even worse.
County staff told commissioners that rejecting the name change would put state transportation funding at risk. DeSantis has already removed state attorneys and school board members who dared to cross him. That is the reality the Democratic commissioner who cast the deciding vote was living in when she made her choice: hand Donald Trump control of a public airport or watch Florida Republicans strip funding from the very people she was elected to represent.
That is absolutely insane.
Florida Republicans handed Trump a money machine and called it a naming rights deal, and the people of Palm Beach County never got a say in any of it.

Denver, CO — Hackers accessed newly powered crosswalk push-buttons, triggering audio messages insulting Donald Trump (while still announcing when it was safe to cross).
"Trump Murders Children."
"The Walk Signal is on. Fuck Trump"
Let's stop Congress from wasting time on local DC issues. Our streets should be regulated by DC elected officials, not Congress.
Join me at on May 20 at 10am to stop this charade (Rayburn HOB 2154).
🚨BREAKING: Local police and ICE agents were filmed surrounding a Black man in Columbus, Ohio… despite openly admitting he had NO warrants.
In the video, you can hear an officer ask:
“So you have no warrants?”
The man responds that they already KNOW he doesn’t… because he handed over all of his information.
Then he asks:
“Why did you pull me over?”
An officer says, “You can’t have weed out in the car like that.”
The man responds, “Weed’s not illegal. Are you all going to write me a ticket for weed?!?”
And another officer ACTUALLY replies… “It’s frowned upon.”
It’s frowned upon?
Now yes… Ohio law does regulate how marijuana is transported in vehicles, similar to alcohol. If it’s open or improperly stored, officers can issue a citation.
A CITATION.
Not a situation where a man is pulled out of his car, and have multiple agencies run his information.
Because if the issue was truly “improper storage,” then write the ticket and let him go.
That’s how laws are supposed to work in a constitutional republic.
Instead, what we’re watching is officers fishing for reasons to escalate AFTER already deciding this man was “suspicious.”
The Fourth Amendment exists specifically to stop the government from detaining people without legitimate legal justification.
And then you have the issue of ICE agents being involved…
ICE is a federal immigration agency. They are not traffic police. They are not supposed to be part of routine traffic stops, especially when they involve U.S. citizens.
That separation exists on purpose.
Because when federal agencies start getting involved in traffic stops, it expands government power, fast.
And once that happens, the line between enforcement and overreach gets blurred… and that’s when your constitutional rights start to disappear.
Just miles from Mar-a-Lago — where Trump partied with Epstein and where young women were brought into Epstein’s orbit — @OversightDems will hear directly from courageous survivors in Palm Beach, FL.
They deserve justice. I will never stop fighting for the truth and accountability.
Four thousand Black workers filed a fifty-million-dollar lawsuit. Google is the same company building Gemini. The same company is selling AI hiring tools to Fortune 500 companies. The hiring managers who treated Black workers like they were disposable are training the algorithm
CHECK YOUR MAIL, D.C.: Ballots are being sent to *all registered voters* in the city ahead of the June 16 election, which includes the primaries for citywide offices and some ward-based D.C. Council seats and a separate non-partisan special election for an At-Large council seat.
This statement was submitted by the Howard University Student Organizers of the protest of Mayor Muriel Bowser as the speaker at their graduation. These are not “misguided young people who don’t understand the issues” these are brilliant Black college students. Much Respect 👊🏾
More joint MPD enforcement with federal agents without license plates.
This time in front of a bilingual elementary school in DC.
To evade constitutional protections, ICE relies on MPD to pull over immigrants for minor infractions.
Traffic stops then turn into deportations.
ICE has violated almost 100 court orders.
Let me say that another way. 100 times ICE was caught brazenly ignoring the law. 100 times a court told them to immediately stop. And 100 times they ignored the order.
That's an out of control agency that shouldn't get another dime.
Black New Yorkers survived redlining, kept their homes, and whites are stealing their deeds.
Deed theft is a crisis hitting Black homeowners in Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Harlem and Southeast Queens. White Scammers forge paperwork, slip in deed transfers took generations to build
They paused Oversight Committee hearings the minute we started getting answers about the Epstein files.
Now it’s “roundtables”: no rules, no oaths, no subpoenas.
You do the math. Because the moment accountability shows up, they shut it down. The survivors deserve better.
251 years ago today, America’s war against “Taxation without Representation" began, with the Battles of Lexington & Concord
Here in DC, that war never ended
DC pays more per capita in federal taxes than any other Americans, yet we have zero votes in Congress

@MolineauxN58356@fox5dc@WashProbs How would an officer know if they were on their way to work or on their way home from work or not? Should they all be wearing visible work permit passes or something? To signify who can be snatched up or not? This is all a slippery slope.
