@shelbywebb Thanks for posting. My son (PreK) has been using the platform through HISD since last spring - it’s been great, but certainly not worth the price tag if under-utilized and essentially works as an interactive Zoom screen.

@AndyHerren Well, there are “pre IG” players and “post-IG” players. It’s sad, but the post-IG players can’t even have a conversation or make statements without rolling it thru a social media post in their head. I would even guess that they have “mentions” they have a quota to do. Sad.

@FirefightersHOU As a resident in 28s coverage area, this is horrible. We know how much they have to cover from the Galleria to 59 to high rises to apartments and large neighborhoods of homes. Not acceptable at all for such a busy and highly populated area.

@DaltonRoss It’s total “advantage fatigue” for me. Season would have been much better if it was just pure play. Zero advantages or gimmicks or extinction island (during 2nd half at least). It’s a bunch of noise and relying on scrolls and less of a game.

But during a global pandemic, prudent measures - such as FaceTime vs hugging kids (who aren’t skilled in the finer arts of hygiene) is a perfectly viable alternative. I don’t know a single person who wants to be responsible for infecting an elderly loved one.

@wiseman_kyle @darrenrovell A good number of people live nowhere near their grandparents, so you use the tools you have to make due. My parents get to see my kids in person like once or twice per year, so this is no different.

@darrenrovell @JayBilas I cringe every time I see a new blinged out lounge or an 80” TV being tossed aside for a 90”. It’s gross and each recruiting class shouldn’t have their perks one-upped by the next. The every 2yr “renovations” are a slap in the face to all. Especially those who don’t get to go.
