When Mississippi expands Medicaid to the 138% FPL, the sky won’t fall just like it didn’t fall in 40 other states (including half that voted for Trump).

Poor people won’t be getting a check in their mailbox.

They’ll get blood pressure medication, cancer treatment, preventative care to avoid heart attacks, and life saving surgery when necessary.

Hospitals will get paid for the work Ronald Reagan’s EMTALA requires them to do.

Hospital employees will have much needed support and raises.

$1 Billion will be infused into our states economy each year.

I’m a conservative, and I stand with the majority that doesn’t hate poor people or math.
