The drop off in #Union membership & the growing wealth gap, especially amongst the blue color workers, are closely linked.
When I went into business I made a personal commitment that I would unionize.
Today, I’m proud to report that we are officially a @CWAUnion shop!
Over 700 U.S. rabbis and cantors have signed a letter calling on Mayor Mamdani to apologize for his recent speech about pro-Israel civic participation, in which he referred to AIPAC as “monsters.”
“Mr. Mamdani’s words invoke a familiar story about Jewish power, Jewish money and Jewish manipulation of public life…” and “when public figures treat “Zionists” as a uniquely suspect category of people, they are speaking about the overwhelming majority of the Jewish community.”
As the mayor of the city with the largest Jewish population outside Israel, Mayor Mamdani’s words matter. And his remarks reflect a larger pattern emerging across the country and the world — singling out pro-Israel Jews as uniquely deserving of hostility. https://t.co/Lu6zeTCB0P

Not a political statement but a moral one
Lander knew that he couldn't beat Goldman on policy
His record on fighting Trump, ICE, etc is bulletproof
So he used the 1 argument he had left: attacking Israel & AIPAC knowing full well that would increase antisemitism. It's despicable
“As history has taught us, antisemitic tropes and stereotypes, some of which I heard personally on this campaign, will ultimately be the undoing of our democracy if we all don’t lean in and speak out, even if it’s not politically expedient.”
I agree with @RepDanGoldman. Antisemitism has seeped into much of our political rhetoric, and it’s often an early warning sign that our democratic values are under strain. We must call it out immediately, wherever and whenever we see it.
Dan Goldman has been one of THE most effective Congressmembers: he helped lead Trump's first impeachment, fought ICE & backed progressive priorities. He did incredible work, but lost his race b/c he refused to buy into the genocide libel. That’s it. Dem party is in big trouble.
Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), in concession speech: “Jews have given back so much to this country. As history has taught us, antisemitic tropes and stereotypes, some of which I heard personally on this campaign, will ultimately be the undoing of our democracy if we all don’t lean in and speak out — even if it’s not politically expedient.”
This is getting lost tonight but a brilliant, principled, thoughtful, experienced leader won the race for NY-12.
I’m so incredibly proud of my friend @MicahLasher.

What happened with Poetica Coffee this weekend does not reflect the New York City I know and love. We’re better than that.
In difficult times like these, we must come together and fight for the future we all deserve.
🇺🇲 BELAAZ INTERVIEW: Congressional Rep. Dan Goldman @danielsgoldman makes his case to voters a day before Primary Election Day. Speaking with Belaaz on Sunday, Goldman discusses his record as a congressman, his relationship with the Jewish community and the dangers of electing an anti-Israel politician who aligns himself with the likes of Linda Sarsour.

When it came time to hold Donald Trump accountable, Dan Goldman did the work. He didn't grandstand. He prosecuted. That's exactly the kind of fighter New York needs in Washington right now.
I am proud to endorse @RepDanGoldman for the #NY10 Congressional district. Vote June 23!
Poetica Coffee in BK has apparently deactivated its Insta after posting a photo of Dan Goldman buying a coffee. “We don’t serve racists, fascists, homophobes, genocide enablers, or anyone in between” they wrote in the caption. Goldman says he was with his 7yr old daughter.
The nature of this outrageous social media post leaves serious questions about the business’s practices that warrant a thorough review under City and State human rights law.
Turning a cup of coffee into a Jewish identity litmus test is an affront to the law, our values, and every New Yorker who rejects discrimination.
Truly wild stuff from a local NYC coffee shop — the city has become a very broken place
Can't help but also notice Dan Goldman's thoroughly dignified response
Also wondering @TheLeoTerrell@HarmeetKDhillon if this legal
